I intentionally got rid of the string in my loofah so as I could try out the African Net Sponge concept before buying a real one. The Loofah becomes far better once you get rid of the string lol. The whole thing can get cleaned and rinsed with the soap instead of the core being hard to reach. Dries quickly so it's better with mould. It's long, so you can use it to clean the back easily (cut it down to size).
