HOW TO REPLACE BMW E30 THROTTLE CABLE +

In this video, we replaced the old throttle cable with a brand new throttle cable replacement kit from ‪@ecstuning‬. The kit came with new bushings, clips and everything else you will need for the project.
Even took it a step further and replaced the plastic bushing with a brand new billet aluminium throttle cable busing from ‪@garagistic‬ for an even crispier feel.

the 2 black plugs connect onto the Gong as you figured correctly. The switch next to it is probably an aftermarket engine kill switch. It cuts the fuel pump electric motor .If that is the case It's a bit too big of a plug .I would deleted or repalce it with a less obvious one..

I don’t even know if I want to keep it. At first I thought it was to engage an after market security system but this seems more likely. Thanks for the clarification!

@@NabeelIqbal97 mine is a guess of course, you would need to trace the cables… they probably go to the relay in the engine compartment( next to the airbox) or straight to the fuel pump by the tank under the right rear seat. If that is the case it would act as a security theft-preventive mod. Very DIY😂
