This song was probably one of my favorite live performances from any artist, ever. She literally captivated ALL of honda stadium, she filled the walls like a total siren. It was insane

I was introduced to this song when facing depression divorced, broken, forbidden to see my kids, living among people who hate me.
Amy spoke directly to my soul at that time.
I was this close to take my life away, but my kids needed a father, present or not.

This arrangement is beyond amazing and chill inducing. I never thought this song could get any better than it already was back in "Evanescence" album. But the last chorus here... MY GOD the last chorus is inexplicably powerful!
Not to mention Amy finally sang this song live, which even she admitted, was very hard, hence why she had never sang it before but then she just NAILED IT anyway! Didn't expect any less from her.

I’ve always thought that End of the Dream was one of the most under appreciated songs in their self titled album. I hope that now people are liking this version that they can revisit the original and maybe hear something they missed the first time.

I have been a longtime admirer of Evanescence, ever since Fallen came out. Her songs are pure poetry that enrich such raw emotions. This song, as well as countless others written by Amy Lee, is pain in its richest form. I loved the original but this version brought tears to my eyes!

She really moved me with, "As much as it hurts, ain't it wonderful to feel?" It really is. I used to have a limited set of emotions which consisted of boredom, anger, and amusement. I couldn't understand other people's feelings and, when I wasn't using a superiority complex as a defense mechanism, I envied the emotions of other people. I found myself angry that I was different. After a bit of studying, I am able to have an array of emotions and really feel things. I can honestly say that I think that this is better because I don't feel as abnormal anymore which helps mentally.

I remember when I was 21 (11years ago) everyone knew Evanescence were my favourite band. my best friend told me his younger brother was a friend of someone called Amy Lee. she was 14 at the time. I said. I just needed to meet the girl for the fact she shared the same name. She lived 30miles away from me. Anyhoo… 7 years past, and just as she turned 21 and I turned 28. we actually met, no one introduced us, we ended up working together at the same place. not for very long... but all in all. We became a couple and are still together today. 4years down the line and still going awesome, so im proud to say I have a partner called Amy Lee :-D

This is one of my favorite Evanescence songs off of the self-titled album, and off of any major label release of theirs for that matter. So I was psyched to see it make it on Synthesis. I think it's one of the better and more successful transformations of an old song into something new that we hear on Synthesis. So good.
