Wanted to come back and give an update that I have finished my last course and applied for graduation today. Single session graduate.

Starting Monday 5/6/2024. My goal is to finish in a single term. I transferred in 120 credits from Sophia and Coursera. I've heard a lot of stories of people graduating in a single term, but not without doing the work and being fully committed.

I start May 6. They have accepted the majority of credits that I have submitted from prior learning. 131 credits. Only 90 apply to this degree. This is from previous college as well as Sophia. I have seen others get through 30+ credits in one session. That's what I am shooting for.

@@Dotboiinot OP, but I started May 6th. I just needed 5 UL courses and to fill the residency requirement (10 classes total). I work as a software developer remotely, so my time is flexible and I have a lot of it. I’ve been knocking out 2 classes a week, so will probably end up finishing with plenty of time to spare. I took mostly PoliSci/History classes. I’m ending with a few Business classes, but nothing has been super difficult.
If you utilize DegreeForum, there’s a master thread of people rating courses, so I’ve been selecting courses that others have said were “short” and it’s been super accurate in my experience.

@@alexsheppe I am currently in the Business Administration management and leadership concentration. They accepted almost every credit I had from other institutions including Sophia learning. I needed to complete 13 different courses at UMPI to complete the degree. Thus far I have completed half. Most things have been pretty easy with umpi. I have been in management for over 30 years and around business my entire life. The material, with the exception of the course financial management has been easy for me so far so take it for what it's worth. I am so far, carrying a high A average. My goal is to graduate with honors. It looks like I will be able to finish the remainder of the credits I need in summer 1. My plan is to do a second bachelor's degree in liberal studies with an educational studies minor for summer 2 and go on to my MBA for fall. I am absolutely ecstatic with UMPI and wish I would have known about them years ago before wasting time at other colleges. Thank you to this channel for enlightening me on the program.

I was in the 1st BA Psychology cohort that started Oct 23,2023. I transferred in 90 hours (I had to do 5 Sophia courses) I took 11 Psychology courses. I finished last week 4/26/2024. Keep in mind I had a month off due to Winter break. Super Hackable. I am on my way to get my Masters. the instructors are great. its is CBE and the psychology program is 98% WRITING & Powerpoints & a few quizzes that are knowledge checks. Apply early as their popularity grows, your acceptance is a little slow. remember its a lot of APA format writing. Completely doable and they are adding MORE Psychology Courses for Fall sessions.
