Still, I think the one-handed sword is more effective overall, they need to buff the greatswords tbh, their dps is too low
It was a challenge, guy asked me to do it with a greatsword. Obviously there's more optimal setups, but that's not in the spirit of this challenge 👍

Falling damage is capped at 100, as long as I have 100hp I’d be fine but ye it’s generally not smart to just take 100 damage for no reason 😂

Honestly can't give you the best answer I'm still theorizing and such. Lightning is very strong though, root is a control (with the immobilize), and blood seems very niche. I'd go with lightning at the moment, but just know that as time goes on and new information and strats are learned that answer *might* change.
Next step level 1, with a club and starter food.

You practically have no fog. Modded or vanilla? Will you show the graphics settings? When I fight this boss I saw practically nothing. In your case, you can even see the stairs at the bottom and the first floor completely
Ye, I have a queen citadel with a bunch of wisp torches hidden and cleveerely placed so the queen can’t hit em. It’s completely vanilla. I did this because I use to do pretty insane multi boss queen challenges(5,7,10 simultaneous queens). I don’t particularly enjoy the mist mechanic in the queen citadel and that’s why I went about with the torches. Graphic settings are all on max.
Hint more where wisp torches you placed.Because I do not hide, it is very helpful
@@marianoitaliano1470 what you can do is place torches on signs/finewood stacks. You can place the finewood stacks high up on a wall, then you can clip the wisp torch into the wall by just pacing it as deep as you possibly can on the finewood stack closest to the wall if that makes sense idk

not sure what you really mean... Greatswords can parry this boss if you have armor on, not sure if you're naked in 3x stamina foods though, but generally it's not smart to parry bosses, as they don't benefit from the stagger bonus, and dodge rolling takes less stamina then blocking.

Ye maybe one day, I have a really shitty microphone atm so I feel like it lowers the quality of my vids.
Basically what's going on here is I'm just dodging all of the queens attacks and when she roars she summons seekers. Seekers are an issue because they are aggressive and easily one shot me in this challenge. So whenever she roars I create space by running away. Once the seekers are dealt with I resume my focus on the boss. Another moment to watch out for is her spew and any stray broods. Broods also one shot me so I also have to watch out for them. Ooze bombs are a cheap and effective way to eliminate broods. Rinse and repeat this dance till the boss dies, that's all it is.
I don't think you can get a Scourging Slayer before beating Queen once (without cheating). Still very impressive skill.
Well technically you can, queen is not necessary to enter the Ashlands. But ye this is a challenge run not a linear progression kill, hence I summon the queen and not enter a fresh citadel. Thanks for the compliment!

The new boat requires material created by a craft station made from the drop of the Queen boss.

Nope you're wrong. You can repair all the boats on the ashlands spires with a workbench, it's tedious but you can just fix them as they break to the boiling water. I've done it.@@yookoalaIf I have time I'll make a quick demo vid of it.

Mabey very hard cause otherwise the health of the queen would go down a lot quicker on lower difficulty
It’s on normal. I could easily do it on very hard though, it’d just take a lil longer (I never one got hit in this fight). This isn’t even the hardest queen challenge I’ve done. I’ve done queen in bronze gear, 10 simultaneous queens on very hard too.

I did it with krom, it just takes longer, idk what your point is I literally never once got hit I could do this with a level 4 wooden club, also take a gander at my 7 or 5 queen simultaneous fights. I’m no stranger to the queen fight.

It's a challenge run, and I did it with krom before this :/, also fail to see how it's really relevant, I never once got hit, all Krom does is just make it slightly slower

Sure why not, you can get mistwalker before killing yag (oh wait nvm you need wisplights but you can get pretty much every other mistlands tier weapon before killing yag), you can get Slayer and gems before killing the queen, this is a challenge run not a linear progression run.@@joaco.
@@Scales1364 Ye men, it was rhetorical, what i meant is that getting equipment levels above the one you are, and defeating a prior level boss, is just not the same. Put defeating bonemass with the Frostner, for example, of course! You can do it cuz you can get Frostner without even defeating Eikthyr, you can lure a troll to a copper and tin deposit, get a copper pickaxe, just do swamps with the flint spear, get an iron weapon, iron pickaxe, a stagbreaker and smash for silver, get your silver and go back to Bonemass to practically kill it in a minute, i've done it and that's the way i play cuz i find it fun to gather the materials an odd way, but what i say its that i don't feel like it's the same beating a boss with upper tier weapons than doing it with what you get in that biome.
You can beat Eikthyr with Krom the same way...
I've beaten mistlands prior to nerfs without wisplight cuz i didnt care about how good wisplight was (i haven't tried it for that point cuz i understimated the light radius) and it was not that deep either.

No your opinion is very valid, I just have a differing one, I don't mind opening up a topic/debating. Echo chambers are really bad. My thing is, doing all these things early (early black forge for Eikthyr, early frostner for bonemass, potentially early gemstones in Ashlands) still expresses skill) It takes a large amount of skill to do early stuff in Valheim, and if you have that skill there's really no world where the bosses are ever hard. I don't like shitting on the game like this but the bosses are just not hard, but I don't play Valheim for the bosses really. So I don't mind using higher than intended gear for bosses, because getting that higher intended gear honestly requires more skill than taking on the fight the more linear way. Hope that helps in understanding my way of thinking. Your opinion is very valid.@@joaco.
