  • Fixing the trailer tail light bracket that keeps rubbing on the ground.
The tail light bracket on the trailer sits real low in the back corners of the trailer. There is a metal plate that provides some protection for the lights, but they have still hit the ground, breaking one of the.
I cut off the lower part of the bracket, weld it back above the upper portion of the bracket, paint it, and reinstall the lights. This moved the lights up by about 4 inches and outs them much more out of harm’s way.

Good job sir. Welds are as good as mine would be; yet they work…so 👍🏼. Just loved how your puppy just hangs around watching and interested in what you’re doing. 😁🇨🇦

I had the same problem with my trailer, I had to change the lights several times.
So I built and welded a protective cage around the lights with rebar scraps.
With this cage, the lights are now protected in all directions, front, back, side, top or bottom.
The only one who complains about it is my trailer parts supplier.
