I don’t believe Brooke has ever truly loved Ridge as much as she claims. It was a calculated opportunistic connection to fulfill her wildest dreams, and obsession with the family. The mere fact that she positioned herself to marry Eric, then later Thorne proves that. All of this destiny BS has gotten very tiring, because what Brooke had more than anything was ambition and a sick obsession, something Bridget said about her years ago. I remember when she told Nick that “HE” was the love of her life, and not Ridge….but she has always been so obsessed with Ridge she has never wanted anyone else to have him. I just wish that Bell would write Brooke in a way to reflect the true history of her character. Ridge’s attraction to Brooke was always more about the “fun girl to have sex with”. He was SPRUNG. The first Caroline was the only true love of his life. The current actor portraying Ridge even had more chemistry with the younger Caroline than with Brooke. Too much has happened to keep trying to sell Ridge and Brooke as each others true loves…. especially Deacon, Eric, and Bill…. and then later Ridge’s involvement with the younger Caroline and Katie. It’s not even believable anymore…..TIRING….but obviously Brad Bell is obsessed with KKL. I think his father would have written her differently, because she didn’t win a lot in the early seasons!!
I wish they wouldn’t have changed him and that they would’ve put him and Brooke together in the first place because they have a lot of chemistry together, just like Ridge and Caroline and he is the hottest man on the show

The script had this Character pretty sure ..She told Ridge..she fell in love with Thorne and she will still follow through with getting married to him.
