By now, it's pretty well known that the toys were made from living people. I think Huggy is one of the patients that went through the experiment unwillingly, and is now completely traumatized and very hateful. That beginning animation was SO amazing and I think it serves as some amazing potential lore. After officially being turned into a toy, they started abusively training him to be the exact kind of toy/mascot they were trying to make, getting him to do what they wanted through pain as consequence. The trauma and pain he had already been through, and now the further abuse drove him to insanity and he finally lost it---As we saw in the first animation. I'm probably wrong, but it's a fun theory! And it could be really cool lore! I just really hope that Poppy's Playtime creators make really cool, deep lore that leaves everyone jaw-dropped and dumbfounded in the good, impressed way.
You should watch all alone poppy playtime chapter 2 animation theres a lot of emotion in that one and gives off a similar feel to the first one in this vid

I’m glad you liked my animation, and even though you credited me in the description, I would like for you to ask for permission first before re-uploading one of my animations. I’m not gonna get all mad and make you take down this video or anything, but please ask for permission in the future.
For the other animators, it would be nice to ask them for permission too. We work hard on our animations, and it’s seen as kind of rude to re-upload our animations without permission so you can get a lot of views off of it, since you didn’t actually have to do any work to get all this attention. Some animators might be more mad about it than I am, so it would be better to make sure it doesn’t bother them before re-uploading their content, to avoid a lot of internet conflict.

In the first animation, you can see the scientists are putting Huggy through a "training program." Probably to ensure safety and whatnot when they release him to the public. I believe this to be completely unnecessary because at the start when the trainer asked for a hug Huggy seemed way more willing and happy to do at than in the end, pretty obvious haha

@@stephenbyrne2170 I'm still trying to figure that out, too. They do bleed, eat and salivate, so it suggests that they are alive. Maybe the blood thing could be like the child's play movies where Chucky bleeds in the doll due to being stuck too long, but they could be just heavily gene spliced humans that went insane due to the poppy flower.

Huggy Wuggy by Playtime co: A monster made to hug, to make children happy. But if it would not hug and smile as directed, it would be zapped until perfection. Huggy Wuggy, made to hug, and nothing else.
My concept-
Huggy was made to kill. He was conditioned as evil, even though he tried to fight against it for a long time. He was experimented on and tortured, because for some reason the idiots who work at playtime co though it would be a good idea to create a 20ft tall killing machine who’s name is Huggy. Then, as shown in literally every “I wanna live” meme, Huggy comes to his senses after chasing Y/N. I think he got hit in the head by the box, and it quite litterally ‘knocked some sense’ into him. HUGGY JUST WANTS A HUGGGGGGG
