Just a heads up on point one. There is no 'Aston Valley'. Lionel Martin raced in time trials up Aston Hill, which is located on the Rothschild Estate near Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire and was a popular motoring venue for hill climbing and not mountain rallying.

The Burj Al Arab is 321 metres (1,053 feet) not 10,000 feet.
Well,you checked only one side view.
The Helicopter was flying higher than Burj Al Arab in the journey.
And then the Helicopter came down to land the Vanquish on the helipad of the building.
My comment was only to point out that the correct height of the Burj Al Arab is 1,053 feet and not 10,000 feet. 10,000 feet is almost 2 miles and is ten times higher than the actual height the helicopter landed the Vanquish on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab .
Definitely they fucked up on the altitude, no way in hell would they fly at 10k feet to short haul a vanquish to 1000ft lol.

I was about to say the same thing.
I have a DBS lightning silver manual and have had it since new. It is the last of the manuals and I would not trade it. Aston Martins are without doubt in my humble opinion the most stylish and sophisticated car you can buy.
The other part of the "dirty little secret about the V12 engine" you left out is the block is actually from Jaguar design. The heads and management systems are different but the roots of the engine come from the 5.3 litre found in Series 3 E-types and XJ12 Saloons.
Whenever I hear the Brand Aston Martin I can imagine the portrait of James Bond!❤️
i would by an Aston any day if i was old enough to drive and could afford one, i loved Aston before i knew about James bond!
This video is horrifically outdated. You should do your research as to who is the current CEO of Aston before publishing.
Plus they said the 6.0ltr V12 was from Ford and that was true until about 2002 when they made their own. So once again they need to update

the Aston Martin V12 engine was designed and built by Aston Martin and Cosworth engineering using Ford financing and engineering and manufacturing expertise, it shares some of the engine design and engineering ideas with Ford but very few Ford shared parts, the design and manufacturing rights belong to Aston Martin and it is used for no other car in the world , It is certainly not 2 Ford V6's cobbled together which is a common misconception . The latest DB11 engine is a development of that original engine again with design and development work by Cosworth and twin turbo technology making a comfortable 600bhp, this bears no relationship to any Mercedes or AMG V12, that relationship is further down the road.

JAMBRRLMc hey just to chime in...the aston martin engines were actually co developed with callaway and not cosworth, aston initially went to see cosworth but it was to costly.....as for the two ford v6's thats true obviously today its not the same engine but it still takes its routes from those two v6's....and people may criticize that they took two crappy ford engines but you have to understand in the 90's aston didnt have much budget and was in transition to a new owner (ford) so aston mase due with what they had and i lift my hat off to them! And by the way if it wasnt for crappy ford well the vanquish may not exist today and aston most likely not be were it is today....ford put alooooot of money into aston in the 90's and really modernized it.

Oh and another thing....pre vanquish (2001) aston had alooot like a boat load of shared parts with ford lol look at the steering wheel....the trunk was from a volkswagen....again they made with what they had hats off to them!!!

you are actually wrong, the most expensive aston martin ever sold was an aston martin dbr1 - £20,000,000. That's nearly $25,000,000.

I have a limited edition N420 Vantage, no. 134 of only 420, feel very privileged, great drive, best car I have!! Have looked at DB11 and new Vantage, much prefer the Older styling.

I LOVE Aston more than any other car brand. The only competitor model that I might have chosen over an Aston (in my fantasy/lottery winning world) would be the Maserati GranTurismo/GranCabrio. Better performance, stunning looks that are at least as gorgeous as the DB9 and a starting price about $90K lower. Other than the Maser, it's all Aston, all the time :D

Well this is not correct. The DB5 was old at auction for $6.4 million in 2019.

correction, the 5.2 twin turbo v12 (showed when first mentioning the v12) in the brand new db11 is NOT a Ford sourced engine. it is actually out of Mercedes's AMG division.

fact no.6 is not correct . the 007 DB5 that Sean Connery drove in Gold Finger was stolen from a florida airport in 1997 its estimated value is about $10,000,000

Yes I would love a Aston Martin. I had been joking about it with my Lady when she was in Hospital. (Fragile diabetic. 12 hospital stays in 2 years) I had said we would still be going to hospital and Doctors quite often, but it would be a more enjoyable experience.
The DB5 is indeed my favorite classic car EVER! SO, yes, when I have the money for a luxury super-car, it will be an Aston-Martin.

If I had to chose a six-figure automobile, and had the funds to do so, it would stand to reason, that I would first select Alvis, then Pur Sang of Argentina, then if neither were available, "settle" for A-M/Lagonda, R-R, Bentley, Maserati, or Jaguar.

Jaguar bought over by TATA Group. Some parts are supplied by Volvo Cars. Engines mostly by Ford designs.
