yes, they always use live bands in their concerts in Korea, what's more amazing is the band will make some special effects to members who are talking on stage freely.

Great Gogobebe video I have never seen that one. Moomoos have lyrics, it is amusing after 1llella came out live, Solar said to the audience, oh you have not figured out lyrics for it yet. Waggy makes no sense until you see it live and it still makes no sense other than maybe their dedication to entertaining us but only they would wrote a song from the perspective of your pets love of their humans. Dressed as teletubbies, dressed as other animals, dressed as a burger, fries, coke and a ketchup packet and probably one of the best vocal performances dressed as Pokemon, not all songs are Waggy but they really are committed to entertaining us. Solar, that line being 29, hilarious. I suspect they will one day do that song again live even though she is now 32.

the girls LOVE to see and hear reactions from their fans, you can see how content they are live with fans around and will try to make them smile and have fun. most notably, moonbyul seems to reaaally revel when multiple girls are losing it to whatever intentional or unintentional tease she does. i vaguely remember wheein saying something about making girlfriends in the audience one time, the quote slips my mind though ^^ ;
two other instances i just remembered! one of the VCRs for the mycon encore concert this year was a "POV [mamamoo member] takes you out for a date" for each member, and during one of mamamoo+'s fansign event solar was like "do you all want to marry me?" with fans saying "YES!!!" and solar replying with something along the lines of "great you'll be able to wash all my dishes then :D". they truly all are trying to get their fans and having fun with it haha
for Mamamoo concert reaction, I recommend the 4 season concert videos. First you have to watch each members solo stage in that concert(you have to watch in this order Moonbyul => Wheein => Hwasa => Solar to have the full effect/experience) then you do the group stage!
Any performance of Waggy always cheers me up. That's our dorky Queens.😂
BTW, the host of Sketchbook show absolutely adores Mamamoo. He has had them on quite a number of times.
Especially for Seoul concerts they always have live bands and you gotta appreciate how good their vocals is with their live bands ☺️

Only mamamoo will do it like this at stage, they are comedian who entertain their fan in this way, plus waggy song, they even dress as ketchup, coke, fried and burger. Plus moomoo is very nice and very supportive of each members so their fan chant normally will scream all their name. Yes, mamamoo concert in Korea normally is with live band, will need to watch once in a lifetime, their live performances is at another level, just that waiting time for toilet will be long as their fans mostly is female (about 80%). Hope you will watch their MMMTV, then you will know how funny they were and their personalities.

Your comment on Byul trying to collect as many wives as humanly possible made me laugh so much, because a) she definitely knows what she's doing and who she's trying to appeal to, b) iirc there's a joke out there about her collecting female idols like Pokemon. In Wheein's words: "Moonbyul makes girls go 'holy shit!'".
Regarding Waggy: there are a few core things about Mamamoo, as I'm sure you're learning as you go. 1. The vocals are always above and beyond. 2. No one loves Mamamoo more than Mamamoo. 3. Mamamoo always commits to the bit. :D No matter when the next video comes, I'm very excited for it! Wishing you and Ollie a restful weekend 🤘

The first Waggy performance you watched was also my first experience with Mamamoo when it originally posted to CZcams. It is my kid's favorite kpop video and song, now.
I've always thought Waggy was kind of a nod to when they showed up at an awards show dressed as Teletubbies - and they were the only ones in costumes (they mistakenly thought there was a costume theme.) Btw, if you liked Waggy, you should check out Shinee's live version of Woof Woof - even more aegyo.
The reason hwasa has less makeup than the others in the sketchbook "waggy" performance is because she was the guest host that week on the show, so while the other three had most of the episode to get ready (they were introduced at start of episode), hwasa only had a relatively short time as she was involved in several songs and skits throughout the episode
(Mentioning this because for a time people swore she refused to put up with the makeup, which just wasn't the case. They also swore she hated the song because she played grumpy cat onstage when in reality sge was the most excited about the song and performances and always wanted solar to do the elephant noise at every performance)
Many great performances on sketchbook as both Mamamoo and solos.

Also their Medley songs during Sketchobook is a mustwatch. They are also known for doing Medleys and making it their own, they aRe just amazing artists
You gotta give it to Mamamoo for releasing songs that blow our minds and they still be performing😆☺️ Hwasa really liked how Solar is making the animal sounds. And they really do seem to love performing Waggy🫠😄

You have no idea how much I cried at that Refuge performance of Moonbyul.
(The video part that show many people in the back ground of her performance is people from all different jobs/industries recorded “the reason they wake up and keep going every morning”)
Waggy was the first song i saw of Mamamoo... At the time, i was looking for the wierd Kpop songs. In my travels, i watched some from orange caramel and crayon pop. My second song i saw was Starry night, and i was hooked on Mamamoo. I always ask people to react to Waggy, and would have loved to see a whole video dedicated to waggy performances :)
The fanchant from moomoos are always so good indeed and it's nice when you notice it's mostly woman screaming for them 😄

Waggy is Soo funny. I have seen many different performances of Waggy and they each had a different outfit that was hilarious. My Star is probably my favorite b-side from this album. And I love the rock ver of Gogobebe if you have not seen that.
I saw them in Baltimore for My Con.. 5 hrs way. I also had driven up to Reading that is 7 hrs away for Dreamcatcher’s Save Us concert. And in that same year as Dreamcatcher but a few months earlier I had gone to Fairfax, which is 3 hrs away for Monsta X (that concert had been pushed back multiple time because of Covid.. and by that time Shownu had entered the military, they had 3 Korean comebacks and one more English album)

If you have 4 hours to watch one concert the s/s and f/w concerts are amazing if not the other are just as good just shorter.

I too really started getting into kpop too late to see mamamoo in concert. I was able to see the mic on documentary, and had to drive 3 hours to see that, but still....much regret in not getting to see them live

For their korean concert they always have live band. For outside korea, since live band is hard, they usually do the next best thing, pre recorded live band. (They sometimes rearrange the aongs to concert ver. Too)
