I'm fine with this figure. To me it answers the question of, "how does Cable move around with all that armor and pouches?" And the answer is, not well actually.😂😂
He looks great aesthetically but my only grip with him being too short. Still a great figure.
Im actually very impressed with the articulation on this guy! Especially the torso. And i love the look of the armor and weapons, and how they sort of tie into the look of Apocalypse! Like hes been stealing and salvaging equipment from guerilla runs
LOL I never saw it as related to Apocalypse, but now that you've said it, I can't unsee it. From now on, that' going to be the story behind all of Cable's different looks when my niece and I play together.

Great review, love your consistency even at the end of the year. I think Mezco should make anime figures. Idk, we've had a lot of Wolverines and Batmans, maybe some One Piece or FMA figures would be a cool expansion

As cool as this guy is, I'm going to have to stick with the Marvel Legends. Love the size and big shoulder pouch things. Though I do love that big gun with the green, might have to find someone parting it. Also Merry Christmas eve!

I'm all about this. Getting it for sure. The height complaint, I mean, I understand but I think it just fits with that more realistic aesthetic mezco is going for, cable wouldn't be freakishly big just like wolverine wouldn't be freakishly small, I hate tge height they picked on their wolverine figures too, but just like everything mezco does, everybody wants to hate it until they get it in hand and then its another story, will be absolutely picking this guy up ASAP

I came to this review late because I just preordered their Bishop and I think this Cable will pair great with him.
In the comic Cable is 6’8”, Cyclops is 6’3”. Honestly if they made the Mezco figure appropriately scaled I’d gladly fork out to buy him. It’s a great figure. It makes it so disappointing

Always good to see a Unparalleled universe review (still fuck youtube for costing so many creators so many followers by lieing about their policies ) i love this cable, it actually fixes most of the things i hate about Cables design (sorry Wade those 90s liefield designs were ridiculous lol)

It looks like an amazing figure but I just can't get into another line. I'm trying to avoid storm. Every figure they make looks incredible haha.
Mezco always makes their ammo clips and chambers functioning for some reason, my netflix punisher has a revolver with a rotating barrel ao im not too shocked that cables grenade launcher has a rotating barrel for no real reason lol

I heard a lot of good things about Aquaman. I have him but haven't had a chance to open him. He looks great though.
Nice review, but the camera angle was bad for size comparison. From that angle mezco cyclops and deadpool looks bigger than cable.

I would usually start out with one of Mezco's best modern ones so you don't have to pay premium for 2nd market. I'd recommend either Batman Sovereign Knight, Blade, Cable, Cyclops, Green Lantern or Aquaman
I cancelled my PX when I realised how tiny he is, this one at least has armour to look bulky. The only issue I have with articulation are his ankles, most photos I see have him standing on the side of his feet. Everything else is great (minus the 2nd head sculpt). If they fixed the feet and put money into a decent size mould it could have been one of my favourites in the line.
Those things would have definitely improved the figure but I still things he's really good and would put him in my top 20 mezcos.
@@UnparalleledUniverse He's a good release for sure. I see his size as a part of his character (like his robotic arm) so I couldn't put him too high but I wouldn't argue with that ranking. They did great in other aspects. Merry Christmas!
The light up thing kind of sucks. He has to literally be in a super dark area to really enjoy it. It's a great figure but it really needed a brighter light.

now you mentioned the word "waxy" it all comes together why i don't like mezco head sculpt.... because the skin tone makes them look like corpse
It always surprises me how many people are so unfamiliar with guns that they don't realize how holsters work... at 4:45, you holster the sidearm wrong, which is why the angle seems off to you. that's a right hand holster... the grip goes to the right. Surprisingly, that handgun holster is based off a real life holster- the Blackhawk SERPA. This tells me one of two things- the future Cable is in either doesn't have any gear better than the SERPA (a real life AWFUL holster, which has contributed to many negligent discharges), or Cable is in a really bad way if he's scrounging kit that sub par in quality. Either way, when I saw that I had to laugh. I mean, the real reason is probably something closer to they did a google search on holster and went with one that LOOKS cool, as opposed to superior function (not really necessary with toys). But I like my future explanation better.
Also, he *CAN* use both hands to hold a rifle, it's just really hard to get it to stay. The best version of Cable is the Deadpool 2 Marvel Legends version. He can hold his rifle properly AND actually aim down the sights when doing so. You would think that with so many characters out there that use firearms, at least ONE company would've figured out how to get that pose correct (I don't count Revoltech because they are the exception to almost every rule concerning action figures).

Cable was a huge bitch? In the 90s amigo drawn by rob liefeld. Rob? kinda over dose he's characters body deformation. like there body of a bodybuilder with bodies like big fat asses. Carrying ridiculous huge ass guns? And pink sometimes. But rob ain't bad at he's characters he was the man responsible for makin deadpool. Without rob? Deadpool didn't exist in marvel and a bootleg of slade wilson from DC deathstroke
