Lenny Williams you had sowed that seed and you got the Harvest God was blessing you. You are living right. I met you when I was a driver at Festival at the lake in Oakland Calif. I drove you to the stage and we had talked. I believe Etta James performed that weekend also. I have been a fan and at the time I was singing also. I was not blessed as you were with your singing career however I enjoyed meeting and talking to you.
You’re older Lenny Williams I didn’t even recognize you.......man you was a natural born hell on wheels singer. You really know your craft and you was the perfect fit for Tower Of Power. Three days ago you was on my recommended list but I didn’t recognize you so I moved on. But today when I saw the name Lenny Williams and Tower Of Power, I thought wait! is the Lenny Williams I by passed the other day? A few steps backwards and show-nuff it’s you, similar to finding Lenny Pickett. I am thankful I caught this interview.
Wow, that man is a class act. They dont make mens and people like that anymore. When you do see it , its gratley appricative. Thank you , for sharing your time. Lové
Lenny, I visited with you at your house with Rocco P in about '78 - I was playing in Little Frankie Lee's band with RP and Bobby Murray. I remember snacking on raisins in your living room, you were, of course, very cool, nice to have met you btw. You are THE singer with TOP, there IS no other, AFAIAC. Glad to see you doing well. Stay blessed!
Well, I'm late to the party, but I just finished listening to a podcast interview with another former Tower Of Power Lenny, Lenny Pickett, and he said the same that Lenny Williams said about being a nice guy. Basically, they say nice guys finish last, but it's important to be a nice guy, etc. I wonder if they talked about that back in the day. Anyway seems like they walk the talk - they both seem like genuinely nice guys.
He is my favorite Tower of Power singer
always been my favorite TOP singer
Lenny seems to be a really nice guy who isn't afraid to give us on the outside, a peek on the inside. Kudos to you Lenny.

DeuBerry Gary Jackson message from the Intercity funkiest bass player around thank you Lenny
Very deserving, loved TOP,lived in SF back in the day.
Very interesting. Love the part about getting the royalties. Samplers should be willing to pay. The composers frequently need the money.
I'm happy for you, sir. You deserve it. 😊

THE BEST LEAD SINGER TOWER OF POWER HAS EVER HAD BAR NONE ( JUMP SHOT JOHNSON) HILL DISTRICT PITTSBURGH, PA.
BRASIL🤗
No mention of Emilio or time with Tower. Hmmm
I thought the definition of "professional" anything is when you make money for those services.
The background noise is annoying me
What about Tower of Power? There huge, didn't he make a good living with them?
he was my fave too until larry bragg....
Rick Stevens was the one and only lead singer of TOP.
