Billy Madison is my favourite comedy of all time. When they’re having the party, and the clown falls from his stilts everybody laughs at how silly it is. But then it zooms in to his face and he’s bleeding from the mouth, and it just has the insane juxtaposition of lighthearted fun, and a horrific injury.

I honestly don't get why you put subtitles. I would understand if they were on the screen for the whole video but they only show up like 80% of the time? If this really is for people with a hearing problem why do some parts have no subtitles at all?
Better than none. I assume it’s to emphasize certain parts.
Helps people who are from other countries and can read English, but have trouble listening

i love this videos, why don't you compile them and just make random jerma moments on stream? just and idea i just love the guy but i don't have the time to watch always the full vod so this videos are really nice to watch just wish there where longer, still tho cool video 👊

Adam Sandler’s association with Uncut Gems is that he starred in it and literally nothing else. He didn’t “make” or direct the movie, nor was his production company Happy Madison even involved.

This sort of analysis is why we have shit media. You will notice that the movies that he and his friends write and produce suck ass, while the shit that's actually good that he's in is usually out of house stuff. And this is not a new development. There just was apoint where Sandler stopped giving a shit about his own output and just started doing massive cash grabs for himself and his friends. And suddenly a movie like Waterboy or like Happy Gilmore looks like a fucking Scorcese flick compared to fucking Jack and Jill. The guy is not "massively talented", he just has enough name recognition to, every now and then, be given a decent script by someone that actually cares about what they wrote, and that's produced by someone who actually gives a fuck. Not every actor is a marvel of thespianism just for being in a good movie every 8 years.
Hollywood is a cesspool of an industry, good on him for exploiting the industry to turn Jack and Jill set into a holiday resort for his family with some dressups, he is a good actor and a director, he just gotta avoid making another slop like these and make more gems.
