I tried Everand recently and I listened to 1 audiobook and when I picked another book it wouldn’t let me listen to it so to me it wasn’t worth the money. I have kindle unlimited and I have an audible which I get all my credits at once and pay in advanced. I think kindle unlimited and audible are worth the money but everand is not worth it if they cap you.

Yes!! I’ve done some research on Everand. They have some kind of points system based on how many books you read and listen to and the popularity - so you can consume all the trash you want to, but you have to wait until the next month to get the good stuff. 😂

You probably know this but never heard anyone mention it. I discovered you can listen to books on CZcams. Just do a search for audiobooks or be more specific with name of author or book. Couple of questions 1) who is The Inter. ?
2). Where did you get your “swingy chair “ ?

I did know that you can listen to books on CZcams, but I don’t know much about it. I should look into it and share that info in a video. Thanks for that nudge. The Intern is my man. I told this story in a video a while ago (and I’ll tell it again soon), but one day he was helping me with some tech issues for the channel, and apparently I was being a bit bossy, and he said “Acting like that, you should just call me The Intern” . . . so I did. 😂 And my swingy chair (which I am sitting in as I type this) is from Sam’s Club.

I don't have time to keep up with Audible 'credits'. I want to read/listen and I can do that without limit on Everand. Thank you for sharing your research.

Yes!! I hear ya on the Audible credits!! That’s what I love about Kindle Unlimited . . . If it’s on there, you can listen to it or read it. No limits!

How do you like Everand?!! I listened to a few books, but then books that I wanted to listen to started to come up as "available May 29" which was AFTER my subscription renewed. I didn't renew it, but I might go back and subscribe again if there are books that I want to listen to. I never did get comfortable reading on the Everand apps -- I think that would make a big difference. If I was reading AND listening to books on Everand, it would probably be worth the money. What do you think?

I love Everand. There are no points to keep track of as with Audible. I can listen to an insane amount of audiobooks in a month with Everand. I can't do that on Audible. I did recently learn that I can listen to books through Kindle e'books but it's clunky and not as easy to use as the Everand app. I do agree that Everand is different than Audible app, but once I became used to the differences I found it was fine. I will say that I listen to 95% of my audio books through my three libraries via Libby. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Libby for audiobooks.

Yes!! I love Libby, too! I agree that you can listen to TONS of books through Everand as long as you don’t get limited by their points system. Apparently, they assign points based on how much you read/listen to and how popular the selections are. If you consume content that is too high-demand, they throttle you until the next month. Other than that, I think it’s a great app.
