This World Hunger Day, our hearts overflowed with gratitude as the Spur Full Tummy Fund and NGO Rise Against Hunger again united efforts to help fight combat hunger across South Africa!
With the amazing dedication of volunteers, suppliers and our franchise network, we packed an impressive 217,278 meals. These meals will provide daily nourishment for 945 children every school day for a year. Each meal represents more than just food; it symbolizes hope, care, strength, learning, happiness, and empowerment.
At Spur Steak Ranches, we support Spur Corporation's mission of Leading for the Greater Good by focusing on early childhood development, particularly nutrition through the our Spur Tummy Fund. Through our beneficiary partners, we provide meals to children in under-resourced day care centers across South Africa.
R1 from every Spur Kids Burger sold is allocated to our Spur Full Tummy Fund to support nutritional programmes supporting day care centres.
