    I remember fans desperately trying to make sense of how the fire spread through the whole stone fortress, predicting that someone must’ve sabotaged the compound to rig an explosion & that it could not have been due to Mae’s tiny lamp alone. Fans were effortlessly coming up with better stories to explain away stupid scenes bc it was hard to accept that the show was THIS awful & they figured there must be more to the story that is being hidden from the audience until a later reveal. But it turns out that there was no twist to the fire, the writers are just that ret*rded. 😂 It’s so depressing that mostly all of the fan theories I saw were 100X better than the actual story we were given. I also read a theory before episode 3 about the twins actually being one person because Mae & Osha hadn’t been shown in the same scene yet & the one scene that included them both was oddly shot so fans thought the writers were providing us with a clue & that Osha was force projecting as Mae while she was locked up. “There MUST be something good here,” fans thought. “There’s NO WAY the show is actually this sh*t.” But it turns out…it was! No twists, it’s just sh*t.

    While I do think this was shit, I do have to point out that Han did say "Then I'll see you in Hell." just before leaving to save Luke in Empire Strikes Back, in response to a rebel saying that he would freeze and that he wouldn't make it far. At least, it was implied. I forget what he said exactly to Han.

      @@TunezCottage I do think it’s nice to see main plot servants die, I liked Sols actor, and Yords neck snapping was sick. Those are the only things this show did well. Sol and Sexy Sith(can’t remember his name) should have both fell in half instead of his lightsaber being destroyed that would have been sick af.

      @@skully5063 The show did some things right and daring to kill characters is definitely one of them. It also didn't expect us to care about Yord, which you can't when you've done nothing to build him as a character. In the german dubbed version of Empire strikes back, Han Solo says (retranslated) "Then we see us in Hell", after the Rebel Officer warns him, that his Tauntaun will be frozen to death when he is going out to search Luke, back on Hoth. Dont know if thats also the case in the english language version.

      Definition of spoiler: a description of an important plot development in a television show, film, or book which if previously known may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer or reader.
      Now, where would you say this fits? Is it important? No. Will it reduce surprise? Depends on if you know Star Wars or not. If you do then you know he's around in this era. If not, then you might as well conclude that's Yaddle and not Yoda.

    Funny, this show only has to kinds of ratings: 5 stars or 1 star. Nothing else. At this point it's a political battle, it's not entertainement anymore. The woke minds have to give the Acolyte 5 stars otherwise the right wing facist will win...It's so much BS, no one care for quality entertainment anymore.

    • @TunezCottage
      @TunezCottage  Před měsícem

      Don’t get why political ideology has to be involved either. The world doesn’t revolve around the US. I mean the other day someone called me a chud which is kind of funny because I’m from Sweden… right-wing extremists here would still be called left leaning in the states. It’s heavily skewed left here regardless of where you’re at politically. And I’ve made it very clear I’m judging the writing, nothing else, but that gets lost in the mess that is the fan wars.
      It is messy though, I’ll give you that but tv and film have been through stuff like this before. The hays code in the 50s’ neutered movies and in the 80s’ no one wanted to show profanity or sexually explicit content like that of the 70s. Out of both we had some of the best tv and film to ever be made when a few directors and producers decided to go against the grain and that’ll happen again. It’s the cycle of life.
