Piece* not song
It would be great to have a series of videos where you play two in a row of the best known songs of top artists, in chrono order. However, introduce each section verbally with something like " and here are two mastworks by XXXX." This way people might start to learn the differences between composers and styles. Great for people like me who listen in back ground as work and would like to know. This way it over time who wrote what would infiltrate our consciousness! It might not just sound like beautiful "old movie music" any more! Thanks!

My favorite is, was always Nocturne in C sharp minor, it takes my innerst out. I know it became very famous through the pianist movie, but it is very touching, thank you!

Wirklich bewegend und das beste für Neujahr 24. Das Präludium op. 28, Nr. 4 von Frédéric Chopin ist eines der 24 Chopin-Präludien. Auf Wunsch von Chopin wurde dieses Stück zusammen mit Mozarts Requiem bei seiner eigenen Beerdigung gespielt. Das Stück ist nur eine Seite lang und verwendet eine absteigende Melodielinie. Wikipedia.

In the classical genre the pieces are not songs are pieces, some composers especial, french and italian, use the term chanson that is a song, voice and piano or any ensamble of instruments. The german tradition the song is the lied and the latin tradition the lied is recognized as a art song...
