I agree, sketching or digital is fine. I think sketching is good for dumping any ideas fast and then making it digital when you want to get a better idea of the structure and content.

Hi Stephanie! Keep these videos Going! Ive just recently found your channel! And also recently found the career of UI/UX design. Ive always been interested in tech and I was interested in Tech sales because I like negotiating and also afraid of coding Lol. But For some reason, the name UI/UX design stood out didn't have a clue what it meant. I started researching more and more of what it was and found someone that looked like me in the field which was you!!. Anyway, These videos are definitely needed, I think I am more into UX- creating User journeys and what connects to what and also the initial design process like wireframing and lo-Fi sketches. Is there a need for UI/UX designers to gather initial business requirements and to design user journeys from Use cases and then creating the initial design and passing it off to more exp graphic designers? This is a loaded comment but I am so interested in this field and think I found a perfect blend of business and creativity!!!!! Thanks! Love your videos!!!

Hey! I'm so glad you found my channel and the videos are helping. I love when I hear people can relate to someone who looks like them. So as a designer, I don't hand off anything to a graphic designer unless it's logos, illustrations, company branding material, etc. A UX designer would take the project through completion, meaning you do all the designs. But you are never starting from scratch, there will probably be a design system and current practices you can reference. It's a lot less scary than it sounds 😊
