- Overtraining means I had a weekend off to switch the Cervelo P3X road bike tyres from 25mm with tubes to 28mm tubeless. I also had a few bits of new gear arrive including the GoPro 9!

Dimming the background with the lights, does help with keeping a focus on you. That says my wife and I (lie: Just me) enjoy looking around the background of the garage to see what adult collectibles (not toys) and storage options you use to maximise the space. Plus you can see the changes as your interests / priorities shift. Anyway, good lights. Request can we also have more not literal ‘Easter eggs’ in the background please.
23c tyres pumped hard are still the fastest as long as the surface is perfect like a Velo drone track..On Uk roads clearly a 25c+ tubeless pumped to 70+ Psi is going to absorb the imperfections that a 23c inner tube set up could never do. Lastly the secret to pumping up a tubeless tyre with an ‘ordinary stand pump’ is to simply spray soapy water around the deflated tyre once it is on the rim works every time & does not affect the sealant . Stan’s race sealant is the best for road use - period..

School boy error on the tyre installation. The tyre label/brand printed on the sidewall should be centered on the valve. That will bug you now 😉 Love all your content and I'm bing watching all these older videos 😎

Hey Mark , Good content as usual, the tubeless technology has improved dramatically, so essentially the tire will seal against the rim without using any lubricant/sealant, it just makes the process less messy, and the lower tire pressure is a game changer I suspect around 70 psi

Nice Vid, dude! Back in the day we used to run 21mm tyres as a general rule but the real fast/dedicated guys were running 19mm. So, I still struggle with the concept of wider tyres being faster. I'm older now so the ride comfort is just as import these days as it allows me to be in the saddle longer. :)
I thought the lighting was better even before you mentioned it. Not convinced that the snow-storm shirt is the right move tbh
Man... What a difference a good set of wheels do. I have some low cost prime wheels and are crazy hard to out some tires in those. Like the store broke 2 sets of tyre levers.

Recently found your videos courtesy of the almighty algorithm and really enjoying them thanks! I'm tempted to go tubeless but it seems a fair investment in gadgets is required to go from a messy/frustrating installation to a clean one would you say?

always makes me laugh that I get more out of breath pumping the tire in 3 mins than riding on it for 3 hours.
