Speaking as an Englishman, I especially enjoy watching SA play and the SA brand of rugby, of huge physicality, directness, and aggression. Each team has their merits and playing style, but I always find SA very entertaining.
TBH I found this one much more fun when they weren't so bloody predictable in attack.
Good on you mate. It’s the dream of any SA coach worth his salt to coach England- similar styles of play. And huge talent in England - if you get it right you’ll be a real championship contender again…

He apparently burst into tears. That's what it means to him and if it means that much to him then it means that much to the rest of the team - and us fans. Springbok passion at it's absolute finest.
The main takeaway from this game is the massive sense of relief I feel after seeing that Nick White's moustache is alright.

Koroibete knew that he couldn't get away with a shoulder charge a second time in the same situation and had to tackle him fairly. Whenever it is an even playing field the Bokke come out on top. Most of the time the field is tilted against them.

Great one Boks! Willemse at 10 with Le Roux at 15 is a deadly combination! The Aussie defense had to keep guessing for 80 mins. Mapimpi got his revenge on the charging rhino. What a classic.

What makes this referee very bad, Aus #9 constantly pushed players after whistle even after the ref warned both teams and nothing happended... the ref handled the jnprofessionalism of both teams very badly in my opinion.

The linesman lied. it was Koroibete who caused the fight, Mapimpi only tapped him but he can be seen clearly holding onto Mapimpi for a long time.

Bokkes playing with a real chip on their shoulder. Huge outpouring of emotion after each try, some of it misused but it's obviously what this team needs to play at their best. Hard not to love seeing Etzebeth leap back into that captain enforcer role.

Yellow carded because he literally pointed at the guy who spear tackled him last week and got away with it....just a bit of revenge banter.... ref did everything in his power to keep Australia in the game all match. what a knob. In spite of all the help for the 16th man with a whistle, and the extra unwarranted yellow on Mapimpi - and Australia closing out the game with a 2 man advantage - they still only managed 3 points.... World Rugby officiating is so manipulated trying to manage outcomes. Rugby fans know Korobeite is an amazing player - but if a Bok had tackled an Aussie in the way korobeite speared Mapimopi last week - it would have been blood curdling calls for red and a 5 match ban.
That Yellow today was just a road of manipulated bollocks they were digging deep for that. Shocking refereeing.

I didn't see any kind of shoulder charge. Koroibete had both arms in front of him this time to try scoop Mapimpi up. Thankfully Mapimpi learnt from last week and stepped in and dove flatter. Possibly got him around the neck a bit and I think that's what aggrieved Mapimpi.

Gotta laugh, 50% of the highlights package is devoted to the brouhaha near the end of the match, while the lead up to some of the tries was noticeably absent. But great game though, and excellent to see the Boks firing again. Goes to show how much of this game is about mental ascendancy, and comes down to who seizes the moment, takes the initiative and their scoring opportunities on the day. Congratulations South Africa, great win.
