    I've had both and definitely prefer the copa mundial's. They were very comfy and lasted ages. The nikes gave me massive foot blisters and the sole starting hanging off after about 10 months. Would not recommend the Nike's.

    I still have a pair of Ronaldinho 10rs and at almost 10 years old they are still some of the best cleats I've ever used. Based off that I went with the Premier's and I'm expecting good things. Though I love the classic look of the adidas

    The reason why Copas have been so succesfull is that there haven't been "upgrades" or changes.It is still a bestseller. The slighty "heavier" copas do not affect speed..it is a question of feel. Nothing beats the comfort/durability of copas

    I just bought a pair of Premier's (blue/white limited). And you are right on the money! Loving them already. First pair of Nike cleats ever. They give me such a throwback feeling although it's a modern cut shoe. Prefer them over my 'leather' 2015 F50's. (weird comparison I know, but I wanted real leather shoes next to a synthetic pair) This just gives you pure comfort. Nice addition to my collection.

      +Tom Cutler played my first game on them this weekend. Performed as expected: extremely comfortable but very much a modern cut boot. Good feeling overall. As a midfielder i would wear them everytime. But im an attacker, so gonnna cycle between this ones and synthetic. (when I want a barefoot feel)

    Great review, thanks, and dead on about sizing. Despite years hearing about the Copa, I held off because it just felt too clunky. The Premier seems the best of both worlds: classic leather boot, lighter with modern details, and no BS colors/graphics. Just got a pair so can't honestly review the play-ability but the fit and feel out of the box is really nice.

    I have used them both and there are a couple of differences:
    The leather on the cola is much thicker than that of the nike premier.
    The last of the premier is better than that of the copa in my opinion.
    I personally think the Premiers are better because i have anything but wide feet, so the last of the Premiers made it for me. I really enjoy them. So for me the Premiers are a little bit better.

    @treynewton3273 Před 8 lety +9

    If the Premiers retailed at $150 and came with a string bag, they would be everyone's favorites. I do like the fact that the Copas are a German made product and they are more durable, but they are 25% heavier and 25% more expensive. I would rather play in the premiers tho. I Train in the Premiers... Play in the Legend. My Copas don't make it out of the closet too much anymore, and when they do, they go back in for a while.

    Hey Josh,
    I'm really torn between these two types of boots on which to buy. I know that the leather on both boots are exceptional and I don't doubt that I'd be happy with either. However I am not a footballer, I am a rugby player, so I would be purchasing in SG type sole. My understanding is that the only real difference is that the Premier's have a more modern/ light feel to them than the Copas (or World Cup's as they're called in SG type). Does this mean that the World Cup's will feel slightly heavy/ sluggish when they're used in wet conditions, given that the leather is thicker and will absorb more water? I'm veering towards the Adidas because they seem like they'd be more durable, but it'd be great to hear your advice
    Thanks.

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 9 lety

Which would be better for someone with wider feet like me? I can't trust the soccer stores in my city, since they had no clue how to properly size my shoes. I was going to go with the copa mundial but you mentioned that the nike premier has a wider last, so would the premier better suit my needs? Also is there an indoor version as well?
