Thanks for the honest review Will! We tried super hard to get that washer system down as best as possible, so I'm glad you're able to appreciate it. The overly tight eye weights were resolved right before we started selling the first production units. We replaced the hex key with a higher-quality one and we also improved the machining tolerances of our tapped eyes so that they fit better and don't require as much force to install. -Lucas

you’ve got a good point about it’s friendliness. that’s a big reason why i want to get it in a bright friendly color like yellow or orange. shiny silver just looks too similar at a distance to old benchmade balis from movies n tv

I didnt have any problem installing with the provided tool. It helps a little to blow out the dust inside the holes. The screws will start chasing through them as you turn and you want to clear it out as you go.
Prove me wrong but is that a vulp V2 or something on the table 🤨

It is definitely a vulp v2. Same handle markings at the bottom. Same orange ano. It appears to have g10 inlays which will be sick.
@@TheBuffnessFlipsthe vulp V2 is already out, that seems to be a Vulp reiteration, like how the prysma Pro and prysma V2 are different. This might be a Vulp Pro or something yk

My bro AL has better tolerances than my v4 squidtrainer with carbon honey, thats insane washers are W
I don’t believe aluminum comes up on metal detectors, I walked through one with a krake raken trainer and didn’t set it off
That's surprising! It really depends on the metal detector and how it functions, plus the sensitivity it's currently set to. I'd rather not risk it!

I was yesterday years old when I realized that allen wrenches have two sides that are different size bits
Gonna have to watch your review tonight. But after a week or 2 with it so far it feels very much like a 42 t latch to me(tighter tolerances but still on washers). I'm running no ass weights, no eye weights, and titanium pivot hardware.
I had no problem installing the eye weights it was really easy maybe they fixed the problem

You talked about the importance of loctite on washer balis, what if I use paracord or threadlocker ._.

I’ve been using paracord as threadlocker for like a year, it’s way better than liquid threadlocker if u do it right
easier to apply, holds much stronger but easier to remove when you want to, and you don’t have to wait 24h for it to dry lmao
similar to teflon tape, but teflon doesn’t last as long, is more expensive, and is harder to clean from the barrel when u remove the screw
