The best thing about gold is that there is only one material which is equal or greater in density which is cheaper than gold - tungsten, and tungsten has a very different electrical conductivity and sound propagation speed than gold, so there is still a reliable way to test it.
Glad your giving a man a way to check a few things. You don’t know who to trust this day and time. Stock good whisky , I know you can barter that for sure. Like your videos. Take care😊
Everything of high value is counterfeit nowadays. There's a huge market for counterfeit products and scammers buying them and sell them on the streets. Specifically in other countries outside the US. There are literally streets where people know off where they sell counterfeit.. it goes from clothing, watches and any type of jewelry, to electronics and all kinds of things of which bring a high currency value
Great video as always. Lots of fakes out there, thankfully all the fakes I’ve encountered have been magnetic. A cheap $3 magnet has saved me hundreds of dollars.
I came across some fakes.. they weigh 31.4g You can see the discoloration right off the back if you look closer on the sides.. plus the second noticeable row of stamp on the back is misaligned.

The size should be 22x38x1.86mm exactly or 36.6x19.5x3mm as well and weight is 31.1035gr (1 Troy oz)
Where do you buy these? Are they actually intended for use in fraud? I'm surprised that they don't crack down on whoever is importing them.
