It’s hilarious when people keep saying Houston will trade up to #1. We are in a great position. Both Bryce and CJ are great. People are so stupid. Bryce is a winner that has done more than Tua/Hurts/Mac Jones etc with a lot less. Also a Heisman winner. CJ proved against Georgia that he is ready and has shown in the combine and this pro day that he might have the most talented arm. So come on people use your brain. Why waste draft capitol to move up when you have a great QB fall to your lap. 2-1 = 1 Simple math.

I really don't understand these drills, put a db out there or something..how u gonna look at a QB throwing to a wide open reciever and be like "yep he's a star, he gonna be the next Tom Rodgers! I can tell!" ? Makes zero sense.
I'm a 53 year old never was and I'm pretty sure I could lob most of those softballs. I saw nothing there that every single D1 let alone pro QB couldn't do just as well very easily.
That’s kinda the point of the pro day but I doubt most qbs go 47 of 51 with 2 drops he’s the most accurate qb in the draft if you don’t know that already you shouldn’t be watching his pro day you watch his film

@@adrianj1478 How the hell did you get that. You mean the warm up throws? Yea they didn’t start the actual pro day till 1pm so all of those throws were just practice for the actual routes.
placement was bad... release point looked awkward... and he dirted a few balls on easy roll outs. The Spin on the ball looked mediocre at best... and he's in shorts and t shirt... yeah Not sure I would say this was a great pro day.

I like the player as a person... I don't like him if you need him to ELEVATE a team... Stroud doesn't have that... and the team he will go to... cant carry anyone... that's why they are picking in the top 5-10 picks. Stroud will get drafted in the top 3... there is no question. But a lot of QBs get drafted there... and are flat out garbage. How quickly people can throw other players in the trash and forget the previous guy in favor of the new guy... as long as it brings them hope. Gotta love the cycle fans live in. Stroud is another COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT guys... that will never be.

They cant risk a DB and WR playing against each other and getting hurt before draft day.
They have his college tape for that. This is purely to demonstrate mechanics and give coaches 1-on-1 time to get to know him.
