  • Yeahhhh Security Breach has its problems, there's no denying that. But this is a pretty big problem that I haven't seen anyone commenting on (probably because most of SB's player base is new fans or old fans who skipped the later games.) So I'll be the one to do it.
Big thanks to our special guest Adam for helping me out with the script and being a jolly good lad.

I think the biggest thing that's ruining this game is the censorship. Once I learnt that they censored dialogue that Gregory was bleeding I realised that we are never going to get any good lore, cause how the hell are they gonna tell the story of a child murderer when they can't even say "I'm bleeding"

I think the problem is the premise. Secure breach does not present itself in mature style that would allow a child bleeding, honestly the game looks kinda kiddy, the most any fnaf game has looked. FNaf usually has a darker more tense and hostile environment and theme, this doesn't have that and honestly its a shame, you can't even say its because were playing as a kid because we played as a kid in Fnaf 4 and Little Nightmares you only play as kids. If the game had a darker more mature premise then the whole Gregory bleeding thing could be left in and it would makes sense instead of having to censor it.

My least favorite thing about the Afton ending is that it's just a HUGE slap to the face to the FNAF 6 ending. Not only did they bring back Afton, they brought ALL the animatronics that were put to rest in FNAF 6 back to life. In the form of a blob. So basically Henry and Michael died for literally nothing. They all survived so the fnaf 6 ending might as well have not happened

This ending was horrendous. Afton is an amazing character, don’t get me wrong and despite how much I absolutely love his new character design in this game, it COMPLETELY ruins everything. Henry sacrificed himself to finally end all of it and only he ends up dying? Really? Could they have not just made Vanny the new villain carrying on Afton’s legacy? It would’ve worked WAY better in my opinion. Also, a bonus point, They made a whole ending with Afton and you don’t even interact with him. Like he’s not coming for you or anything. He literally just stands there and sends the exact same animatronics you’ve been running away from for the entire game after you. It’s embarrassing really, there’s no scary aspects within this game either, they clearly focused on the design WAYYYY too much.

The core problem is scope creep. They added more way beyond the scope of the original game and didn’t flesh out the story or the lore. Honestly, with the premise of the pizzaplex being closed for a "Few days of maintenance" and with how the game flows, it wouldn't surprise me if the *original* intention was to actually have it take place over several nights instead of the one! A more episodic approach could've worked better, and each hour/section feels like it could've been longer with its own night, like the whole intro with Gregory missing the doors right at midnight, up til the daycare could've been night 1, have Gregory fall asleep or pass out somehow (he is a kid, ya know?), then the start of night 2 could happen, and so forth!
it'd also give a good excuse as to why the bots get SO dirty and messed up (not counting what Gregory does obviously) throughout one night, them getting that scuffed might be more reasonable over a week long period as opposed to a night long ya know? unless the mop bots are really bad at cleaning lol

@@jimmiecutieballs6709 My theory is he didn't. His personality was imprinted onto storage devices, as indicated in Help Wanted, which got scanned and manifested themselves as the Glitchtrap computer virus. Later, Vanny/Vanessa finds Glitchtraps ruined old body and begins rebuilding it (probably the REAL reason Bonnie's gone from the Pizzaplex), and was still working on the reconstruction when Gregory's events took place. As for how Burntrap's moving, I think some replacement parts salvaged from the remains of Glamrock Bonnie, combined with uploading Glitchtrap into the partially rebuilt old suit is what's making that possible. There's really not enough organic matter left in that suit to animate it organically, so what's left of Springtrap Bonnie and William Afton's purely digital and mechanical now.

The ending had a lot of missed opprotunities, I was watching one of matpat's gtlives the other day and he mentioned a concept that I personally perfer over ANY of the endings. Over the course of the entire game you upgrade freddy (you have to get all of the upgrades for him in order to get the afton ending as well) and by the end of the game you give him claws by destroying monty, roxy's eyes, chica's voice box, and you can EVEN make his battery last longer, a build up of freddy being the bad guy, or possibly william afton himself. You literally make him unstoppable (ignoring that one scene where he's torn apart like he's some fricken lego set) That would've been much better than what we recieved, "oh hey springtraps back for some reason". you know what makes me the most mad about the whole 'gregory is the crying child and vanessa is elizabeth' theories? it's that they're probably right. maybe not entirely, but it's clear that steel wool wanted them to represent members of the afton family. and honestly that's so frustrating. it takes henry's sacrifice and essentially spits in his face, making it basically a really dramatic suicide. to me, that's this game's greatest fault. it took one of the best endings to come out of this franchise and said 'haha just kidding they're all back!' there were ways to bring afton back, too. one way i'd really like is if glitchtrap didn't exist at all, but rather vanny was a copycat killer. that keeps afton 'alive' in the story sense. he's gone, he's stuck in hell with cassidy, but the consequences of his crimes lives on. his _legacy_ lives on. to bring him back like this? it's honestly just insulting.

Afton's inclusion could have easily been explained if The Blob/Molten Freddy was revealed to be Golden Freddy trying to maintain control over the other souls who want to be free. They're the reason Afton's able to come back because they couldn't let their hatred of him go.
This gives William a chance to escape via Glitchtrap in Help Wanted and use Vanny as a lackey to kill enough children and use their remnant to put William back in control of his old body which was remade out of the burnt corpse of Henry. Gregory would have been the last child needed to bring William back.
Security Breach could have easily been about Golden Freddy finally letting go of their vengeful endeavor and wanting to fix their mistake of letting Afton come back. On top of Michael Afton possessing Glamrock Freddy to protect Gregory as a means of redemption to let go of his guilt for killing his brother in FNAF 4.
But no... It was far too good to be true, and what we got was just disappointing.

Now see I like this because it ties things up. We can still keep the core stuff that *was* good in Security Breach (which is Freddy and I think that's it), and add stuff that makes sense for the story. Plus it gives us a reason as to *why* Freddy is possessed, but also why everyone else would be after him? Like maybe the twist is that the other animatronics have personalities because of the other kid's souls, and with Gregory being the last he's expected to be Freddy. But if it's Michael, then the game could be about Michael remembering he's, well, Michael, and not a Rockstar bear man robot. It works better as a passing of the torch, if I'm honest.

@@bumblebot2458 I imagined so many unique and interesting character interactions. For example: Golden Freddy/Blob despising Michael due to him murdering his own brother and claiming he is still a killer just like his father.
Vanny having a better twist to incorporate that "double Vanessa" ending where there is a second Vanessa but it turns out to be Baby/Elizabeth Afton using an illusion disc to look like Vanessa and "playing pretend" to not rouse suspicion while the real Vanessa is trapped under Glitchtrap's influence.
This would open up a character interaction between Michael and his sister, Michael most likely trying to warn Elizabeth that their father is using her and that his love and approval isn't worth it.
Finally, I can imagine a more satisfying ending for William where he tries to exploit the hatred of his victims, wanting them to torture him once more until there is another window of opportunity to come back again. Only for Golden Freddy/Blob to say "no." There will be no second chances, everyone's souls will be released for good.

I think Steel Wool had much bigger plans for SB, but had to cut them short due to time constraints and probably getting over budget (and they're a small studio with less then 12 developers during development of SB), so they had to patch what they had together and do the best they could with what they had. IMO they left the endings and lore open ended enough they can use DLCs, updates and sequels to fill in the stuff they ran out of time and money to use in the initial launch of SB and take it in many directions. They could have SB be the swan song for William Afton, with Glitchtrap and Vanny taking over as the antagonists for the next few games. Or they could have the Save Vanny ending be made cannon and have Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy be taking on Afton one last time to finally put an end to him once and for all, or a totally new enemy, this unnamed executive who forced Vanessa into a security position she was underqualified for and that the HR dept and building manager clearly didn't want her for. To be honest, Glitchtrap is a valid character. By having him controlling Vanny, we can have a change of murderers and also show that the original source of evil was not purged completely. The game could be about saving Vanny and quashing the last remnants of William Afton. You could have, say, Charlie, Cassidy and Michael come back and help Gregory along the way. CC's soul may be lying dormant in Gregory, causing Gregory to perceive glitchiness and so on...
But how did we get this idiocy?
William should no longer have a physical form after FNAF6; the existence of Burntrap means Elizabeth, Michael, Charlie and Henry all died for nothing. Then sole purpose of FNAF 6 was to rid Afton of a physical form and hope his soul would move on. If he is going to come back, at least not invalidate everyone's sacrifices.
The other problem is that the main villain does not even appear, and we instead have a 'bad boy' alligator, a 'depressed' wolf and a 'cookies UwU' chicken. One wonders if the executives at Sony were watching Gacha Club Mini Movies.
No wonder we can only joke about Gregory venting. You cannot have humour relevant to the game's substance when the game has no substance.

Maybe have Malhare and William be distanced. Maybe have the cult of Afton be a real thing that exists! I refuse to believe that burntraps body is Williams body. The reason why is by the ending of fnaf 6, you see that in the labyrinth the walls are closing in, as if the walls are crushing the animatronic to make sure they are dead. Williams body wasn't just burnt, It was burnt, crushed and was turned to ash.
Also, Williams body was bone because in fnaf 6, you can see his horribly designed skull. And remnant burns so if William burned in fnaf 6 (which he did) then he lost all his remnant meaning William Was officially dead. This also means that william possesses the suit, not lives in it. So in my opinion, burntrap makes 0 Sense whatsoever
Edit: If you have a few questions, then here's the answer for some of them: The reason why I said "meaning William Was officially Dead" is because the reason why William killed kids is because of remnant, basically the part in a humans soul that makes them live. Once removed they die. So william thought he could save his children by using remnant..but then he got remnant poisoning and probably turned purple. He also became immortal. That leads right to question 2:
How is William dead if he was immortal? The answer to that is because a way remnant can disappear is by burning. William lost some of his remnant but not all of it, then in fnaf 6 he lost all of it.
Hopefully this made you realise how stupid the Afton ending is

I think the only reason that Steel Wool designed the Blob (and yes that's his canon name) the way he is because of the appeal and popularity of Funtime Freddy within the FNaF community and thought it would be cool to model him after Funtime Freddy but Steel Wool either didn't know what they wanted to do with him in the story or where too overambitious with the project and included too much story ideas and concepts they were considering but ultimately had to drop them as they were running out of time for development and rushed it out the door for a Christmas release and that could explain why the narrative of the story is unfinished but ultimately I don't know what went on during the development cycle, writing process, optimization stage, and finalization stage of FNaF: Security Breach.

Does everyone remember how Scott essentially retired in the middle of SB’s development? Thats what happened to SB’s lore and why William is back and etc. Without Scott, there was nothing stopping Steelwool from making their own changes to the lore. I REFUSE to believe Scott was behind Security Breach’s lore, he made the Fnaf 6 ending for a reason. Oh yeah and the game was rushed because steelwool got to overconfident, realized they fucked up and rushed ti finish it before their deadline. P.S. Scott also had EVERYTHING set up for continuing the series from Fnaf 6, UCN, help wanted, special delivery and the books when he retired and steelwool fucked it up! Basically In Fnaf six everyone was supposed to be FREED in the fire, except William’s corpse survives as explained in the books because of an angry spirit torturing him, which is shown in UCN. Finally in help wanted, you literally witness Vanny being possessed by glitchtrap, which is willams freed soul possessing a V.R. Headset etc. When she IS possessed, you see her character slowly being teased and rise up in special delivery. Then you fill in the blanks on Vanny’s role and Willams role and how Scott set up a perfect story for SB, hence the early trailers and voice lines teasing Vanny being a ligament threat with a knife, Vannessa’s concern for Gregory and what he doesn’t understand and Freddy being way more cautious and stern. Scott was not retired yet, so the game had an actual plot and was under Scott’s judgement which led to an appealing story and smooth development.

My main issue with the afton ending is that it completely ignores everything security breach itself had been setting up to throw Afton in for shock value
This game isn't about him despite the past games building him up
And before you use the past games as an excuse- just shut up
People shouldn't have to play 8 other games to understand who the hell the main villain is of a new game
The game never even mentions his NAME
Granted fnaf 3 didn't either but it was in the teasers and all over the marketing and merch
Burntrap was only ever found out through file digging
The game itself had been building Vanny up as the big threat and the main antagonist for the game with no mentions of Afton yet in the "canon" ending she doesn't get any form of closure or proper explanation at all
There's no tease as to her current status or what she and afton were even actually doing there
Considering AR it seems easier to just put him in one of the new springtrap replicas rather than his old broken body
Hell even If he can only fully possess that body then why not fully repair it to be more deceiving to his true nature? Give him a new kid friendly appearance to make him be physically capable of gaining trust or even stepping outside without the police being called on sight due to his visible corpse
Honestly the Princess Quest ending is not only more fun to play through but is also more satisfying for the story being told in the game itself
Hell even with all of afton's build up from previous games it's still satisfying as you can just say that he still has tape girl or Jeremy

Which goes against what made William special as a killer in the first place. The fact that he wasn't the invincible serial killer or genius engineer he made himself out to be. He wasn't even really that scary. He's described in The Silver Eyes as being the most normal and intimidating looking someone can be. Which I think is genius characterization, as it takes the gameplay weakness of Springtrap (the fact that he had the least intimidating jumpscare in the series up to that point) and turns it into strong, memorable characterization. It's said that he kills as if trying to correct a disparity. He wants to be powerful, admired, feared, but he never truly can be. And he *hates* that. In a way he's just like most real serial killers; There's nothing really _wrong_ with him disorder-wise, but his petty entitlement motivates him to go after vulnerable people (children) to make himself feel more powerful without risking the possibility of his victims fighting back. And that realism is a large part of what makes him feel truly threatening in the book, though the real danger comes from the animatronics. And this characterization is never reversed in the books. Even after he comes back as Springtrap in the second book, The Twisted Ones, he actually gets weaker! He goes from being able to casually break a grown man's arm in The Silver Eyes to losing a straight fight to our protagonist Charlie without even getting a chance to put up a fight the moment he's without his backup (the titular Twisted Animatronics). The horror around him rarely ever came from him, it came from the monsters he made.

We only see vanny twice and she's meant to be the big time villain. Like, in fnaf 3 how spring trap is the main villain with the other phantoms being there to add tension, I think security breach should've done something like that Vanny is the main villain with the other glamrocks being there to add tension but that wasn't done.

The amount of narrative fixation, the fact that he gets full speeches and moments when other characters are usually kept silent, the fact that he is always validated by the plot- it's pretty obvious that he is the main character of FNAF. In SB, there are bots that seem to represent the Afton family and I worked from it the idea that Malhare himself wants what William had, plus his need to survive like his predecessor did. So instead of his motivations being "heehee I'm gonna commit child murder again!" and eternal life (because let's face it: he already achieved this by being literal code), it's mostly an act of survival. To continue persisting and becoming better than William ever was.

He was an interesting way to return the series villain without completely ruining Henry's sacrifice since he now no longer has a physical body to interact with the world, forcing him to rely on someone else to carry out his plans for him. There were so many ways they could have built on this concept and used to it explore both Afton as a character but also Vanny. Show how manipulative and controlling Afton really is. Instead they went for the most confusing and disappointing climax they could have gone for. What even was the point in Glitchtrap? Three years of build up wasted.
And even if one argues Burntrap is Afton repossessing his old body, why would Afton even _want_ to return to his decrepit, broken and weak corpse? The far more logical choice would be for him to make himself a new body from the dozens of animatronic bodies in the building!

BLOB did NOT need to exist, burn trap getting his body back but with new powers, new modifications, and more damaged was a great idea to be glitch trap's goal before he did more stuff. But BLOB literally serves no purpose other than the game having a big boss man to meet the quota of William getting his face caved in each game he interacts with the player. Like what is the purpose of BLOB. It also makes so many plot holes with the characters inside the blob. Baby was scrap baby before. The puppet's materials would NOT have survived the fire as much as it did. Chica and Bonnie's bodies were chopped to pieces, also their eyes should NOT be glowing (referencing that their souls are still inside them) because they passed on way back in fnaf 3. I don't even KNOW why Mangle is there, they were decommissioned like the other toys and put in a box even before fnaf 3. Also the BLOB's face is a fully formed funtime Freddy head, when the only remnants of the head before were the scrambled mess with Molten Freddy.
I think when Scott said scrap trap was bad, Steel Wool just decided that ALL fnaf 6 designs were bad, and just, decided to redo everything.

I think you all are doing exactly what Steel Wool intended through this. You are supposed to go "WHAT? HIM AGAIN??" in outrage. And there's two reasons for this. The first one is the Golden Freddy factor as mentioned in this video. Golden Freddy is keeping William alive trying to make his suffering last. But that is actually just empowering him ultimately. William is an overdone villain in the series because he is just that, an overdone villain. And you can blame Golden Freddy for that. They ruined the poetic springlocking. They ruined the fires of FNAF 3. They ruined the burning in Pizza Sim. The cycle of revenge is what is perpetuating the constant recurring threat of William Afton.
The second part is one that's been glossed over ever since Pizzaria Simulator. And it's from this quote "... nor have you been summoned by the individual you assume..." Who are they assuming would be calling them there? Who would be delivering a gift of children on a silver platter to murderous animatronics? And continuing from there, who exactly is running Fazbear Entertainment now? The company should have died decades ago yet someone chose to build the largest location to date on top of where Henry attempted to finish everything off. That same person appointed Vanessa to head of security despite her lacking any prior experience. That same person provided the circuit boards containing springtrap even though springtrap was actually still alive by that point. Whoever is running the place is the real villain of the story, not William nor Vanessa. And William Afton returning again was meant to both distract from, and signal that fact.

And it's a race to eliminate every strand of glitchtrap's code before his influence becomes too grand. after all the ability to jump from one body to another is a form of immortality and immortality seems to be Afton's goal. so it would have been a wonderful concept. but I would also find it unfortunate that burntrap wouldn't have been used in that case. personally burntrap is more of a damaged Springtrap than scraptrap ever was so personally I would have loved to see that design In fnaf 6 instead

You know your game is fucked when a single press of the spacebar can break your game and the lore you tried making original ends up falling back on old stuff and still fails. I mean, I'm honestly surprised there isn't a “how to fix FNAF SB” or Fixing FNAF SB” type video I can find yet, which is why I made my own list of things I would do to fix the game’s tonal problems, story unlogic, and generally what I think would help the game. I wish they had pushed this game back and that it wasn't changed/censored as much as it was. It could have been so much more with so much to say. Instead, it's going down in FNAF history as a buggy glitch-filled mess with a bad story that has no clear progression and didn't live up to the hype.

The one cool ideas I thought about the glitchtrap/malhare idea is one of an ex cop who failed his psych evaluation and became a play tester. While he had Afton in his mind he still kept his sense of justice becoming more of a Jacket type character who only murders gangs and or serial killers. Their father may of even been someone who lost a family member to Afton. So he even makes sure Afton in his own way cannot get Remnant only instead murdering those who deserve it.

  • @Sneaky_Snail_Pie_02
    @Sneaky_Snail_Pie_02 Před 2 lety +6

Honestly that ending had to have been rushed. Like the trailer showed, THERE HAD TO BE OTHER PLANS!
I think that originally Afton was supposed to come back similarly to how we see, but it had to have originally been a much bigger fight or maybe no true fight to speak of.
I think a better ending, if they'd of taken their time, would be this:
We wake Afton up and take off into the rest of the pizzeria, which Glitchtrap/Malhare has now completely taken over since Roxy, Monty, and Chica are nearly out of commission. All technology in the building is under his control (this is taking into account the part of the trailer with Gregory in that security room with a wall of screens). So his boss fight to be the whole entire pizzaplex. We have to run around from recharge station to recharge station to keep him from taking control of Freddy, stay away from Vanny, all while slowly shutting down power around the pizzaplex ending at maybe the elevators that lead to the front doors. This is when Afton and Vanny would REALLY be after us, we cut the power so they have practically no upper hand. We have to find a new exit since the elevators to the front door aren't working, possibly even returning power to certain areas if there's no stairs. But we'd need to get power cut again quickly to keep Afton off our tail. Along the way we find some kind of item to set the place on fire. Depending on the route we take it could be a box of matches and a lighter, faulty wiring, etc. We get to one of the exits we check throughout the main game and a cutscene starts showing the animatronics moving to block the exit, Afton and Vanny catching up behind us. We use our picked up items to set the plex on fire and book it in a direction to lead them after us. After enough running, the pizzaplex is getting burned enough to trap Afton and Vanny so we can make a beeline for the nearest exit with Freddy. We get outside the pizzaplex and make a decision as to if Freddy goes with us or not.
We saw in the one ending that a car battery charged Freddy so maybe that could come into play? And just as a fan of the idea of the other animatronics escaping the fire, maybe we could have found all the others outside and free of Afton's control. This would include Roxy, Monty, and Chica obviously, but then maybe also DJMM, Sun/Moon, maybe even some of the staff bots? There's no way these animatronics wouldn't all have AI to tell them to get out of a burning building.
I also like to picture that, as a way to show they're maybe not done with Afton, or continue on with Vanny there could be one last cutscene. Two different variations depending on ingame actions.
1: Afton survives the fire through some technology based means if you didn't perform certain actions either in certain orders or at all? Vanny has managed to keep him around somehow on maybe a Fazwatch.
2: Afton is genuinely gone but not Vanny. She's still somewhat under Afton's influence, but not to a point where he's coming back. So she's out there. She's willing and planning to target more kids. Especially Gregory. If the pizzaplex is rebuilt with new safety precautions the cutscene ends with her returning to the new pizzaplex under the guise of being a night guard, a visitor, or some member of staff that would give her access to the pizzaplex again. She's so far gone now thanks to the influence of Afton that she takes up the mantle of the bunny suited figure that lures kids into the staff only areas.
Edit: I cut Molten out completely because I mean, come on. The fire would have turned him into a big decommissioned pile of unthreatening scraps! If we return to the pizzaplex again it seriously needs to be a lot darker! Like more kids have disappeared or something and the atmosphere as a whole be basically FNAF 1, 2, and aspects of 3 all over again in the open map. Maybe play as Gregory again who has kept the key cards which miraculously Fazbear Entertainment didn't change to new ones so he can go almost everywhere in this bigger and more unsettling pizzaplex.
I love seeing Afton in the games, he's been a great antagonist but we really need to see Vanny take over until she gets the same fate handed to her. Maybe it's a great chance for them to play with more things that are more from the books like remnant.

Personally, if you need to continue the fnaf story with the Afton family, here is how I would do it personally. We know the fates of everyone in the Afton family; everyone but Mrs. Afton. We straight up don’t know what happened to her, the closest thing we have is Vanessa’s therapy recordings and maaaaaaybe the existence of Ballora. But anyways, the fact we don’t know to much about her leaves room to make a story.
This is simple, but old woman Afton (or perhaps her spirit even) longs to see her children again, by any means necessary. She’s a woman that has fallen into an obsession to bring her children back, to bring them back and take back the time William took away from her and her children. Maybe to give her a more animatronic design she and William would have bonded over their love of robotics before getting married, but she has experience with robots. She tries to bring family back, and in doing so, she brings back the one person she never wanted to see again: William Afton. Yes, she can brought her children back, but also the one who took them away. It’s still a work in progress on my end, but it’s a start for something that I think is a LITTLE better than what we got.

If Steel Wool continues the timeline, I do hope that Afton doesn’t return, but still plays a role in the narrative, i.e Afton himself doesn’t ‘always come back’, but the impact of his legacy does. I can imagine the idea that Molten Freddy was dormant until Afton returned, and even after killing Afton, Molten Freddy doesn’t die or rest, but escapes the burning pizzaplex and, not knowing that he’s already killed Afton, continues his search for him, all the while, Vanny is continuing Afton’s legacy, refusing to accept that he’s now permanently dead.

But you didnt mention how Glamrock Bonnie is gone, and Monty is set up to be framed. Monty is given claw upgrades that look an awful lot like burntraps claws(we know they are used to play the bass and bonnie was the old bass player). Now it is a theory(with obvious holes), but what if Monty is somehow tricked into decommissioning Bonnie, Vanny takes his endo down and tries to bring william back by uploading malhare into the endo. Now it doesnt explain the corpse you see in the endo, but you said it yourself, they dont care about designs when it comes to lore consistency. It would also explain why he needs charge, if he is a spirit, why? AND he is compatible with the charging station, an OLD OLD OLD endo wouldnt be compatible with that, right? THIS ALSO EXPLAINS WHY IT SEEM AS THO FREDDY IS BEING HACKED BY A VIRIS DURING THE BOSS FIGHT, aka, malhare. I rest my case.

As a fnaf6 lover and speedrunner, the Afton ending single-handedly made me rate the game from 6/10 down to 2/10. Henry's monologue was way too good and way too iconic to just to throw aside for a "cool final boss". Like VR did it alright by suggesting it wasn't the man itself but a computer virus version of him and that's aight, VR has more than enough lore to back it and a coherent enough story for me to enjoy it. SB was so badly polished with such a confusing, nonsensical story that any chance that the Afton ending had at being mediocre immediately became a wet dream. Sorry for the rant, I just have very strong feelings for FFPS and SB.
TL; DR- Fnaf6 good, SB bad, VR decent
Edit- I should mention UCN and the Afton in Hospital book (can't remember the name but whatever) those fit within the story of FNAF enough and had a good story arc, bad man eternally punished, the last spirit to go unchecked is with him making sure he never can have peace. Pretty cool, 9/10 for UCN and Book.

(Lemme be honest with you, I don't have Fnaf AR and I only hear it from my friends. Which renforces my points is that kind of storytelling is shitty because they expect for you to know all of those about Vanny in Fnaf AR. But they never said about it in SB, like the fact they just expected to know kids are going missing in SB without actually address it)

Ngl to you William is actually starting to seem more and more like Chucky, like let's just look at it carfully, they where both humans at some point but then died and got their souls trapped within inanimate things which at some point where completely new, and the over the years of games/movies being released their inanimate thing became more and more broken down and then a new part of the series comes back and they look brand new and fresh.

Somebody on Reddit suggested that Afton posses the Blob and take his princess quest form, I think that would be an interesting direction to go.

FNAF 3: All right, so his body is possessing the animatronic, just as his victims are, and he managed to get out of the blazing building.
FNAF 6: Ah, so Henry lured William here... To finally put an end to him for good.
Help Wanted: Uhh... Well, he did experiment with remnant, maybe he could've figured out how to upload his consciousness to a computer? He would've had to do it before the events of FNAF 6 though...as surely then he dies...right?
SB: ok, how is this mf not dead

My theory about afton coming back is glitchtrap told vanny to find the old springtrap suit, and had vanny collect remenant from the missing children, she built afton a new suit out of glamrock bonnie and springtrap, put it in the recharge station with the remenant, and created this version of springtrap.

William Afton is the equivalent of Aunt May in Spiderman, even death, we brought him back to life to be able to continue making (comics) games even if it meant spitting on the lesson and the history of ancient (comics) games.

Like, Afton chose another corpse in a bunny suit rather than something more powerfull or creative. At least have him rebirth in a meaningful way

Also Heywood recently did something with nfts also William having a new voice signifies him being rebirthed in a way like never before (also RIP Mathew Curtis, wish your voicelines were in the game)

Literally almost everything about the true ending would be fixed if Molten Freddy was instead Golden Freddy.
