    Great sounding snare! In fact your entire drumkit sounds like a canon, really powerful I love it. A mixing video of how you mix your drums would be amazing👌🔥

      Thank you very much !! 🙏🏻
      The choice of heads does a lot to the sound and how to tune it even more !
      I keep this idea in mind 😉
      For now I am into the presentation and soundcheck of my new Tama STAR Walnut set, with the addition of my new Starphonic Copper snare !
      Cheers from France and thank you again for watching !

    This snare sounds so good!

    • @ThomasCremier
      @ThomasCremier  Před 7 měsíci

      Yeah ! It is raw and powerful !
      Even if it is cranked, the body of 8" deep helps having a fat sound !
      Cheers !

    I’ve utilized the Hybrid snare side on my personal marching snare drum, and it damaged my bearing edges, so check your drum for any indentations.
    We utilize the Hybrid snare side on our marching snare drums. Hopefully, the newer stock has some improvements, and won’t damage our bearing edges.

      I am sorry to read that !
      I personally didn’t see any damage on my Starclassic Bubinga snare hopefully, but thank you a lot for the warning.
      Cheers from France

    The hybrid heads is a really cool idea. I’m gonna have to try it out

      The Hybrid is such a powerful head ! It is the most durable snare head I have used, ever.
      The sound it produces is short, big and explosive ! It kills all the overtones you do not want (if it is what you are looking for) !
      If you try it out, tell me what you think 😉
      Cheers !

      Yes it is ! 😱
      Maybe a little too much… But my newest snare will get a video of a shootout of 6 different heads to search for the perfect sound ! 😉

      @@ThomasCremier I guess it never can be too tight as long as you find the tuning that works for the stuff you're playing! I just realised the other day that I've been tuning my own snares pretty low lately haha!

    • @ThomasCremier
      @ThomasCremier  Před 7 měsíci

      @@KholmDrums That's totally correct ! That tuning is what I am using with my band Psygnosis, the drum production I did on the record is a dryer drum tone that I am used too compared to my cover (during which I tune my snare way lower) !
      czcams.com/video/d5k6wINqzmQ/video.htmlsi=MxJkSkjJ0mtMFNmo
      For example 😊
      Cheers my friend !

    This is so cool, My Brother, I haven't even thought to set a Evans Hybrid on the bottom, sounds pretty cool. Thanks for sharing, and by the way I'm still thinking you are the best candidate to fit Slipknot throne man. Cheers, and always supporting you Master!!

      Thank you very much !
      I didn't know before having that one that Hybrid exists for Reso head !
      And that is so dry and explosive ! 😊
      And man, I am curious to see how will be behind the seat of Slipknot ! 😱
      Cheers !
