I agree with Joseph, there should be regular playsets for people who cant or dont want to spend that much money to get their lotr fix.
Yeah LEGO needs to make more lil' sets, but they probably would never do it unless there was a new movie or something
We will be getting a film based on Gollum directed by Andy Serkis. Maybe we'll get something similar to indiana jones with a short line then. That way they can use these new molds and prints again.

Yeah, I really miss the small-to-mid range LotR sets. Right now the fact that it's only these gigantic expensive sets or Brickheadz is frustrating, I just want like a single Hobbit Hole house or something.
Yeah it would be nice if they had the hobbit house, but smaller. That was the set that tempted me the most back in the day.

Even though it's expensive, this is one of those sets thats somewhat worth it. I think the Rivendell set was also around this price, but this one is at least 3 times more badass

This is definitely a must-buy for me. I don’t currently own any Lego LOTR sets/minifigs, despite being a fan of all things Lord of the Rings/Hobbit. I've set my eyes on the Rivendell set too. The mentioned small sets look like something I would buy and would fit nicely with my LOTR/Hobbit collection.

Yeah, we're highly critical of all of these sets that come out. Joe does respect the set though, but he'd rather blow $500 on a complete set of 2001 bionicles instead

The front of the set looks sweet, but ugh those open backs are just awful. Though I get it, the cost to do a full back would have been even more for a set that is already waaaaay over my budget.
I never had a problem with open backs on LEGO buildings. It keeps the cost down, and you don't need to remove any walls to look in - you just turn it around and get a peek
I was going to call out the parts of the video that made me literally laugh out loud, but then the number got too high. Anyway, I concur with these brilliant gentleman; however, I will in fact be purchasing this set and getting that sweet, sweet emo pterodactyl 🙏🏻

To each their own I guess I've always wanted a Barad-dûr set and I think it's beautiful and the figures is just amazing but I've always liked the bad guys the most maybe that's why Rivendell looks really nice as well tho
I acually think that the Sauron tower is not only better-looking, but it's slightly cheaper, and the GWP is waay better
