Saw BC live in around 89. Live at Redcar. Really small venue. More like a pub gig. Someone spat at Stuart. He jumped off stage mid song, grabbed the spitter, dragged him ouside, ran back in, jumped back on stage and continued the song. Absolute legend.

saw them at Redcar Coatham Bowl in '98. Still have the ticket stub and a plectrum Stuart gave me, in a picture frame. was part of the "restless Natives" tour. Still have the "obligatory" tour T-shirt even though Redcar is not listed on the back as a venue of the tour.

Such a smart smart musician such a young waste of life and talent. If only people of his calibre were still about today how different music would sound

Mark Brzezicki is one of rocks best drummers in my opinion. Amazing technical ability, never misses a beat & like Bonham has a thundering right foot.
Saw BC live many times between 85 - 2000. The best live band in the world for my money.
    Very happy memories.

I fall in love with BC more and more with every video, performance, and song I come across...phenomenal. I adamantly oppose the "one-hit wonder" label that has been imposed on them here in the states....what an iniquity.

I have adored this band from the day I heard Harvest Home then was elated to see them capture the world with In A Big Country. In school many sort of filed them away as a "dude band" and even though people knew the song, I wasn't running into many fans, just myself and another guy who happened to have the same concert shirt in 84. I kept telling anyone I could about how gifted they were and they needed to check them out with little success. Well, while stationed in Germany I happened to catch them open for the Rolling Stones and was telling everyone they were in for something special and the guys did not disappoint. They left many speechless then were asking me about what albums to get. You just had to have been there and I'm so lucky I was the few times I was able to. You rarely have bands where all 4 are at the top of their game like this.

Jesus there’s so much that’s right with this song live, check Tony’s cracking bass work, Bruce’s edgy mandolin and matching hair, Sparkie’s incessant and relentless drumming and I can’t really add anything that hasn’t been said about Stuart live. Proper band, this shit hardly exists anymore.

I can see the Seer sometimes in the sky predicting a change. A change to more humanity and respect for the environment. Shame people are people and some of them should be punished for destroying this planet. It is time for Greenpeace to tell them they should stop. Aah well, let the music speak!
