Used to be 6d - six old pence - at the end, a VO would say “Cadbury’s Curly Wurly! Outchews everything for sixpence!”. After going decimal, it was redubbed to say two and a half pence - sixdence, as most people might have called it - no way that D stands for pence - it later went up to 3p - probably costs ten bob or more now!
