IMPORTANT! Be mindful of potential licensing issues with making pins, depending on the theme you chose. You won’t get in trouble with general themes like animals and quotes that I showed but I would stay away from Disney and other companies known to aggressively pursue licensing issues. Usually, you are ok with small lots but you increase the chance of problems with certain brands the more you sell. I’ve not seen the BBC go after anyone for Dr. Who merch and just bought a Dr. Who mask 😷 on Etsy.
Definitely watch out for Disney.. those people are gangsta. no lie... People have lost the shirts off their backs selling shirts with Disney characters on them. Good advice Prime Time!

Made enough USA pins for local businesses post 9-11 to injure hand badly, so pay attention to ergonomics if you're doing mass amounts at once.
Tips...
Mount machine to heavy board for stability and speed.
BUY A CIRCLE PUNCH - it was worth every penny. Adjustable craft circle cutters can work too, but are slower and more temperamental with thin or old papers.

@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter You will love it! Pay attention ordering with how it positions paper underneath as some are open on 3 sides, but
2 side open ones can limit ability to move around the image before punching.

you have the bottom dies installed incorrectly. if you take it out and look at the back side it'll say L for left and R for Right
Omg I’m so jealous of your pin machine!! I looked into them about a year ago because COOLNESS! But the one I wanted was over 200 & I couldn’t justify it. But there were so many I need to go back & look - 100 is much better - I just want bigger buttons though. Gosh now I NEED one lol 😂

Lol. I think they make bigger barrel sizes you can switch in and out. If you ever get a hold of a button maker, I know you would make the coolest darn buttons. I’d buy some!!!
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Yeah, We have one that makes 2" buttons. We got ours about 10 years ago and it's not the fancy desktype like you have, it's a simpler squeeze type (like those exercise squeezers) but once you have it down, it works pretty good. Our granddaughter came over last summer and spent a week making buttons for herself and her friends.

Thanks again for a great suggestion of the buttons, just saw a site and you can get the parts for fridge magnets, key chains and machines that do up to 3".....this is awesome. Just bought a huge magazine lot and making buttons/magnets/key chains will definitely increases the earning potential - not to mention all the personal items you could make for friends and family.
Seeing Daisy reminded me of Taco Tuesday at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse. You have to do a run of pins of the cast of characters that you hang with. Do Daisy, O.G. Godzilla, PT, Little Pink, Skeletor etc. Have the slogan: "Collect 'em, trade 'em, be the envy of your friends!" Great info.

It all depends on the theme you chose. You won’t get in trouble with giraffes and quotes). Maybe another company could ask you to take down. Usually, you are ok if not asking in huge bulk. Done all the time on Etsy with no issues. I’d stay away from Disney though, pun a comment up tip, and mention in the next vid.

i can't get my 3" badge make to crimp. i have wasted a dozen buttons trying. step one goes well. when i go to step 2, press down on the lever, it will not connect the button top to the button bottom. i'm feeling hopeless, please help me. please.
Hi, I am having trouble with my button maker. The metal gets squished too much and the paper wraps around the backing correctly but once I press it onto the pin backing, the metal gets squished and leaves the button with a metal piece sticking out around the edge. Some have a small piece sticking out flat and others come out with a larger section. Sorry if i explained this weird I’m not sure how to describe it. Could you have any tips for fixing this? I’m not sure what’s going wrong. Thank you

I have tried like 15 buttons. Cannot get a button without it not crimping completely on the back. Do you know what possibly what I'm doing wrong?
Can I just buy the dies? I have an industrial rivet setting machine, or grommets. Would the dies fit my machine I wonder.

Schedule your videos to come out sometime other than the butt crack of dawn. If im subscribed to 100 people and you post at 4am your video will fall off my feed by the time im up and watching youtube. Think about it. 10 people release at 8am 10 release at 9am 10 release at 10am if i dont get to YT until 10am you are now buried by 30 videos! Im not just some random guy giving you youtube advice either i have several videos over 10k one at 26k and 2.1k subs. I just think you are racking your brain and that could be a simple answer. Try scheduling for 10-11am or check your analytics for when your audience is watching
Hey. Yeah, thanks. I’ve been thinking about that but CZcams has not given me that data in my analytics about when ppl are watching my vids. They have told others though but it’s experimental do not all have it. I actually seem to do worse the later in the day that I post it because I have a lot of East coast subs who watch in the morning for work so if I post later, then I miss all of them. So there just does not seem to be a good solution until I get that CZcams data. I’ll email them about it to request the data.
Yea i have it but like you said its just in experimental phase. I just know your videos get buried on my feed after just a couple hours. Look at today craigslist hunter, shed flips and rva went around an hour or 2 after you pushing you down. And thats just the resellers. Your loyal subs will find you no matter what its those fringe views and non subs that it might help. Try 9am instead of 4am ya know? But yea i understand waiting for the data. Do you use tube buddy? I dont but ive been thinking about it. Helps with seo

I am a Dr Who fan as well, been watching since the 1970's!! Love Jodie Whittaker as the doctor by the way! Question--do you have to have permission to use someone else's images to make these pins? I just don't want to have a problem with the owner of the copyright or eBay...cause I thought about making sports pins in the past?? Thanks for any help on the legality of doing this. Cheers!!
