- Actress Erin Moriarty recently made the decision to leave social media after conservatives, namely Megyn Kelly, attacked her for getting plastic surgery. The two photos in the before-and-after photo of Erin that went viral were taken nearly a decade apart. It's good to have a conversation about plastic surgery, but we should correct the record about something when we're wrong.

Kylie also tried to convince people that she didn't get her lips done and that it was "just makeup." As a woman that wears makeup you can tell the difference between makeup and cosmetic procedures. Unless she's using face tape, eyelid tape, and all that other stuff people do to get a quick/temporary plastic surgery look. This girl more than likely got work done. It's not natural aging. Her face looks visibly different.

The first pic is exactly how she looked in the first season of the Boys, which was just 4 or 5 years ago, the second is what she turned herself into now. I’m not buying the age gap explanation, your face doesn’t change like that in just a few years without cosmetic surgery.
A rare wrong take from Candace. And weirdly one of the instances she's fallen for the victim card that she's usually so aware of. Of course already beautiful women who still feel the need to have plastic surgery, and even lie about it, will feel vulnerable when called out. I don’t know - I went back and looked at some recent photos of Erin and it’s actually like Candace says - there are a few areas where it’s possible she’s tweaked with some surgery, but overall NO WHERE near as drastic as the photo seems to imply. Lighting and contouring can do some incredible visual tricks. So no, Erin does not seem to have been playing any kind of ‘victim card’.

The first season of The Boys was filmed in 2018. The last season of The Boys you would have seen would have been filmed in 2021. It's been a couple years. When 4 seasons take 8 years to make, edit and do the effects (I assume every special effects house has been busy redoing marvel films reshoots), then you'd age across the project.

I told my wife she was beautiful without makeup and she listened and only uses it lightly for special occasions and her skin has improved so much. You woman are beautiful without makeup and surgery, don’t fall into the medias idea of what you should look like and just love yourself.

My recollection was that I hedged my bets on the assumption that I couldn't be sure that she'd gotten work done. If she had, there can be a sadistic process of ripping her to shreds, which I get. If you improve your stocks by nipping and tucking, then other women might feel the pressure. Women are in an arms race. So I get a school of thought where makeup, dressing nicely is conventional warfare, but getting plastic surgery is using cluster bombs or mustard gas or atomic warfare. Some stuff you want to get off the table and that involves enforcement of norms.
The alternative view might be that if she'd done it, she was doing it as masochism - that she'd been programmed to not be comfortable. And then maybe a response might be compassion or sadness for her. I wondered if there might be a filter. I had some idea that some photo apps altered your face automatically.
With my sister, I'm pretty sure she's had botox (in her mid twenties). On one occasion, I drove her to a party while she spent 20 minutes photoshopping her dating pictures on her profile. I couldn't think of anything more dispiriting. But it's not a dissimilar predicament. In that scenario, getting work done (virtually) demonstrates a discomfort and has the same problem - selling out the sisterhood and contributing to the next person who decides she's not good enough. But again, given definite modification, should the reaction be compassion or blame or? Erin's not my sister, but she probably has a soul, so...

I grew up with my mom being my worst bully. My parents were split and I didn't have nearly the amount of healthy love from my dad to make up for it. Having such a lack of love surrounding me meant that I wanted it badly, but was unable to tell it apart from someone who was deceitful and just used me. I had friends who did just that. It wouldn't be until over a decade later of me sharing everything with these girls, pouring my heart and soul out to them, treating them like sisters, before figuring out just how evil they were, just how bad they would betray me, amd realizing I was thw butt of jokes, not their best friend like they were to me. I have had many situations where women have kicked me when I was down, not lifted me up. I grew to despise the nature that I was so frequently exposed to. I have not had a female friend in quite a few years.... not one. The lack of trust and heartbreak isn't worth it.

I've watched The Boys and could very obviously notice a difference from season to season that I literally googled "Erin Moriarty plastic surgery" and found a bunch of results including a plastic surgeons CZcams channel who analyzed her pictures and clearly pointed out the work she had done like a year or 2 ago. I don't know how Candace can be so wrong on this subject when Stevie Wonder could see the drastic surgical changes
You apparently don't realize that she is in a current streaming series "The Boys" and in the current season she looks nothing like the "after" photo. She's pissed that people called out the physical changes she's made to her face, and rightly so. She did the Hollywood thing, and as a result destroyed her natural beauty. I have no sympathy for public figures (actors) who put their own images out into the public domain and then complain when the feedback isn't rainbows and unicorns. You want your life to be private, then leave acting and rejoin the real world.

All that happens *naturally* to a woman's face between 19 and 29 is a slight loss of facial volume in the mid-cheek area and the eye hollows becoming slightly more prominent (depending on the individual and their genetics and ethnicity). Certainly not the cheeks, cheekbones and lips becoming enlarged and visibly protruding (thanks to fillers)! The nose also doesn't magically thin out (hello, rhinoplasty!). 😂
No, the old photo is still close to what she looked like recently as she is costar of ‘The Boys’ and that’s pretty much what she looked like up to season 3 which came out about 2 years ago. So while not completely accurate, she still looks like she had alotta work done which is a shame considering she was so naturally beautiful before.
I usually agree with you, Candace, but on this Erin issue, I don't agree. We need to stop acting like plastic surgery is no big deal and all these influencers and celebrities promoting it and it's dangerous and when you're in the public eye you need to expect to have some criticism and backlash and stop playing the victim. We need to encourage girls that they are beautiful as they are instead of making them feel like they have to change everything about them to feel beautiful, and that's the message Erin is sending

I’m about to be 30 and untouched, my cheeks are still plump. I am not old, buccal fat removal severely ages you and when you’re older with it your skin will sag.
That’s probably why they do the cheek bone implants; to hold the skin up. I don’t know what they do about the eye sockets because they lose fat also and I would think protruding cheekbones would accentuate the hollowness of the eyes. If you take care of your skin and use sunscreen I’m sure you’ll be more beautiful at 40 than you are at 30.

Even if Megyn didn’t say anything, it was obvious to the fans who watched the Boys that she had plastic surgery. The photo on the left was not something from 10 years ago. That was she used to looked when she first started the Boys, and you could see her progression of it during the seasons. Her denial of it and the support from cast to me makes it worse. And how are we attacking her when all we said she was pretty before and that she didn’t need it? Another perfect example is Hunter Tylo. The issue is that she looked way better before the plastic surgery. Plastic surgery can be a great thing to fix broken people, but when its applied by actors/actresses to fix what ain't broke it usually fails. Anyway, I hope she is happy, The Boys is a great show and she is a good actress on it.

Why is Candace having such a go at Megyn Kelly lately?
There's a bit of a somewhat pseudo logical fallacy here in that she didn't look like that in the latest season of 'The boys' Maybe a year ago. She still looked very young and like the same girl. I've seen make up artists do incredible things with their "Paint" but all will be revealed in the next season and how she goes through life. Her face shape looks different, maybe weight loss and her make up is extreme to cover that look but you can't make your lips puff out like that or your cheeks and cheek bones move to a different part of your face... (Maybe prosthetics) I hope this isn't another case and kind of Irreversible damage.
Noses do not get smaller as we age. Lips do not balloon up either. At age 30, her buccal fat should not be absent. A person doesn't go from full cheeks to gaunt without some sort of intervention (or illness or starvation). Honestly, I didn't look much different at age 30 than I did as a teen. Other than weight, most people don't. On the other hand, she looks like a totally different person. With that said, it is her business and her face. She is not beholden to another's personal esthetic. However, I would argue that her personal esthetic has been colored by current trends. Cute faces are not en vogue at present. Sad.

Candace said, young folks are foolish and shouldn't be punished for their mistakes because of immaturity... That's the surface... Megan supports Israel and hates Hamas, while Candace hates Isreal because she was unjustly accused of anti semitism, because she supports the Palestinians plite. In the process, l think Candace is, as always vengeful now, against Jews. Just my opinion. I can't actually read Megan or Candace's mind.
@@MICHAELASHER-lg4xj Couldn’t agree more, I lost a lot of respect for Candace when she started seeing ‘grey areas’ in the horrific terrorist attack against Jews. She was also really spiteful to Ben Shapiro and now she’s after Megyn Kelly. She’s quite vindictive and I’m not really a fan anymore but I do have to admire her sheer strength, she just doesn’t care and doesn’t back down.

Girl had visibly had work done between the 1st and 2nd season of The Boys. I rewound the scene to look again because the difference was jarring. Don't backtrack on calling out this plastic surgery obsession, she clearly had work done.

I saw her for the first time in the 2018 movie "The Miracle Season" and my goodness, she struck me! I don't know if that recent photo was her showing the tweaks she had for a role or if it is an actual surgery. Being 29 or 30 would not alter a person's facial features so much, and I think that this new face she's got pushed down her attractiveness A LOT!
It's safe to say that a good number of women on this planet are concerned about losing their beauty (someone please tell me what statistic we're looking at), which is a valid concern, but over worrying about that is just unhealthy and letting this worry take over can lead to dreadful consequences.
