This lakeside bathhouse in the Red House Area appears to have been built in the early 50's, with a couple of remaining original Bering urinals. However, the toilets are very unique-- they are 60's-70's Eljer Sanus toilets but with the 50's style logo! I wonder what the backstory behind these toilets are...

Epic fixtures! I’ve visited an Old Junior High School that had these exact same toilets from the 80s.

A swirly crapdera. Nice! The Eljers have a straight on siphon jet instead of one a bit smaller and placed to the left a few millimeters...

Awesome fixtures minus the last toilet.

  • @Flushometer_AirConditionerFan

I love those vintage fixtures except for the EverCrap madera.

I believe the Eljer Sanus at my High School is the same one as these, isn't it?

They still had that logo into the early 60s, I had an Emblem in my hotel room when I visited chicago from 1962 if I remember correctly, with that logo

4 1962-1964 Eljer Sanus toilets, mixed urinals like 2010s Mansfield Adam, 2000s American Standard Maysbrook urinals, 2 1960s "Standard" Bering urinals, & 1 brand new American Standard Madera that replaced 2 1962-1964 Eljer Sanus toilets.

Now that's a great bathroom! I really don't know when the Sanus was redesigned, but it would be nice to know the dates on those toilets. The flush on that Bering too!

Yeah just like that Darfield at the campground! Lol
I thought the Sanus was redesigned in 1967, and the logo I know was switched in 1964 or 1965 so at first I thought this was a mistake! The Sanus must have been redesigned earlier then, kind of like what Crane and Standard did in the 60's too

  • @stfplumbingelevatorsandmore

I wonder if those Sanuses are from the Early-Mid 1960's.
