I've been growing my hair out for a little more than 2 years now. My goal was to be able to tie it up into a man bun and now I am able to! There have been a few stages during my journey where I considered cutting my hair but I always found myself watching your videos to give me some inspiration so thank you!
@@onix840 entrances??
I only have been growing my hair for 4 months. I really want to have a long hair lol. I'm scared that I'll cut it before I can bear it
Quick question for you, did you ever cut the stray hairs in the back by your neck? Or did they just eventually over the course of 2 years reach a reasonable length. Cause im like a year in and they just arent long enough to fit in anything yet and it looks hopeless. At least with the sides I can use a bobby pin to fix them up but fuck these little hairs just dont fit in at all lol
After 1 year I had a crisis and cut my hair, I was growing it out for so long and threw it away over self sabotage. I honestly regret it now, since I found more tips and tricks how to maintain long hair, and I’m back to growing out the hair process.
@@normalcommenter8595 get a trim (like 1 inch off or less) when you are at a comfortable hair length. Or just use hair treatments.
i’m so glad i grew my hair out because it led me to this channel
1. If you have any wavy or curly texture to your hair, avoid the towel (old t-shirt instead!) and limit brushing to only when it's entirely wet
2. Do Not use hair oil as anything but the LAST step. First you should opt for a leave in conditioner and THEN if you feel like your hair isnt locking in the moisture like you want it to, you can add in some hair oil- a little at a time.
3. Avoid the hair dryer!!! Heat damage is so prevalent in many people's hair and it's hard to fix. Not to mention curly wavy textures are way more prone to that kind of drying and breakage. Look out for the long term health of your hair and BALANCE that with short term styling techniques. Blow drying is okay when you're short on time & use a heat protectant but please, not everyday!
P.s. everyone's hair is different and how you treat it is so very personal to you. only you can decide what to do with it but these are just some suggestions!
Thanks for the suggestion mate!
Why no towel.
Any advice on a good leave in conditioner for dry, frizzy, wavy hair?
@@PieterFret coconut conditioner spray.
@@PieterFret My fave is probably the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Leave In. It’s one of, if not the first, hair product I fell in love with. Shea Moisture is a GREAT bet because it’s at most stores, is very affordable, and uses awesome ingredients overall: I’d recommend anything from them, just look for Wavy or Curly on the label. Two lighter Shea Moisture leave ins I love are the Lush Length Lite Hemp Leave In and the Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave In. Also love the Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Softening Milk (helps manageability, not frizz as much) and the Evolvh Smart Curl Leave In. Rule of thumb, you can use any product intended for true curly hair, just make sure your hair is damp before applying Anything, and start with very small amounts & add in from there. Putting a mask of pure aloe vera on my hair for about 20ish minutes before I shower has helped my frizz sooooo much- also a product called Pacifica Coco Gloss Shine Serum- it’s a frizz reducing serum that works pretty well. Hope this helps!
Wow your hair is so long now. I remember the journey of you growing your hair out. I’m currently growing mine out and it gives me motivation to carry on after watching your videos
Same. I started growing out about 9 months after he started and yeah my hair is like a few inches shorter than his.
me too. i started with him but mine are not as long as his. dunno why. i don't even go to stylin shop anymore
This dude has the best smile ever. Always makes me happy to see his smile.

@@aymanhimself I was about to comment this as well
@@saad7885 so... what's your problem? The guy looks great - powerfully beautiful - and, sure, he has a lovely smile....but it's the hair wot does it! And I'd say the same whether I was gay or straight (I'm not sure that I'm either....why does it matter?). [Sorry Luca for talking about you in third person! I'm actually very grateful. 9 months in, 65 years old, not a bald spot or receding in any way - and no beer belly! I look so young and beautiful!! It is this that inspires me but, without your videos I also may easily have given up....and I'm beginning to be very glad that I haven't!]

This channel is a huge inspiration for helping me to continue my hair growth journey. 9 months in and luca is helping me to get through this awkward stage that I currently find myself in.
You'll get past it, hang in there! I'm 2 and a half years in. For the longest time, I felt like my awkward stage was never going to go away. It finally was completely gone after 20 months. Once I hit 14 months it only got better and better. Just gotta stick it out through the last months!
You gotta roll with it
im 8 months in! and i can now tie up my hair without the support of hair belt.b
so i’ve been growing my hair out for roughly a year and it’s a disconnected undercut so it’s long only on top, and cut pretty short on the sides and back. my hair is currently just above my shoulders and a few months ago there was some new growth growing on my hairline, it’s currently to my eyes and the rest is barely above my shoulders, watching your videos actually helped me a lot
This is deffo the video I need at the point in my hair growth journey.
I’ve been growing my hair out for 2 years now and it was great to witness your hair growth series along the journey.

I love your videos relating to hair Luca, I’ve now hit 12 months since starting to grow my hair and I’ve found your tips very helpful. My hair has now reached the shoulders and I’m loving it. My next Salon trip will be in June to get a colour/ foils and the ends trimmed to get that dry hair off.
Keep up the good work 👍❤️😄
It's my 3 months of growing my hair, you motivates me. Thumbs up
My hair was a little extra frizzy today lol perfect timing

hey luca, can you record a tutorial of how you tie your hair buns? especially if you have different styles. thanks and keep up the good work!
Literally just thinking that I need to do something to help my frizzy hair. Started growing it out around the time you did. Thankful to have your videos man!

Yess I would love a shampoo conditioner video!!
Yes darling, what your hair looks like is the most important thing right now.
been waiting a min for this vid bro, ty
Great video Luca definitely needed. I had a question though regarding on a product you spoke about a while ago this being aveda thickening tonic. Do you still use aveda thickening tonic?
man i needed this, thank you.
Great video you should definitely make a explanatory video of all of shampoo bars and also the products you use (shower gel, etc)
Yes! A video on shampoo bars would be sick
A shampoo bar video would be nice. Some good recommendations and how to apply 😊
Just got my first shampoo bar !! Can’t wait to try it out, been growing my hair after buzzing it for about a year and four months !! Thinking about cutting it down again but haven’t decided yet on a cut that fits me..
Update on the bar? Notice any differences?
Bro I love your videos man. Watching you has inspired me to make my hair grow. Love ya dud and keep up the goods♥️👍
Now this is the video I needed 👍🏼
i had grown my hair in the quarentine, my hair was growing for 3 years, but i didn't knew that much about hair, so i washed every day, so my hair was super frizzy, so i cutted it thinking it wasn't for me, but now i regret irt and im going to start re-growing my hair, not the same amout tan before but the necessary to make my old icconic samurai hair style that every one saw me using
looking good bro! keep up the good work!
Please make a video on the shampoo bar, i'd love that! :)
I have thick and very curly hair thats also very long, meaning that i get a lot of knots and it becomes really hard to brush out and to manage with. Honestly, ive always felt the need as a kid to grow out my hair so it could be the longest but im planning to cut it, but not entirely short such as being above my shoulder length, maybe a just-below medium length since i am very attached to my hair, as ive mentioned i wanted to grow it out as a kid meaning, that ive had it for many years now, after watching this video i am surely planning to cut my hair as this has made me realise how much i dont need to have long hair, and as a muslim it is better to have long hair as on the day of judgement (the day where the God (Allah) questions you for all the wrong that you have done to see whether you will go to Jannah or Jahannam (heaven or hell)) everybody will not be wearing clothes and rely on the hair to protect them (but in the afterlife you will be wearing clothes), my parents encourage me and my sister to have long hair for the better, but i really do hope my mother allows me to cut it, 🌸
Please make a video about shampoo bars I’ve been growing my hair almost as long as you and I look forward to your tips since we have similar hair and it’s been very dry lately
Shampoo bar vid please and thanks that’d be great! Never heard of until this vid.
You already know I gotta give my boys vid a thumbs up

Thank you for you tips really appreciate it, I got a question; while washing my hair should use a brush or only using my hands?
Ok I’m gonna go to Lush real soon 👌 this is suppperr helpful!

Thanks for the video!! Been watching for helpful tips for awhile now. My problem is work in a very oily environment, so I have to take a shower in the evenings when I get home. What is your recommendations on this front. I can't really find any helpful tips.
same here. I'm a mechanic and my head tends to sweat throughout the day so I have to shower in the morning and evening.
Which shampoo bar would you recommend for dry frizzy wavy hair in the UK?
This was much needed at the moment , thanks mate ! Love your content as always ❤️

the fastest way to grow your hair out is patience and making sure its healthy
@@arthurmorgan5589 thank you Arthur Morgan
frizzy hair usually has a wave/curl so maybe u should try enhancing your wave/curls. Try applying a leave in conditioner on wet hair and scrunching it (you hair should be wet enough that u hear a squishy noise with the water when scrunching) and then let air dry. also look up vids on wavy hair to help you out :)
The middle section of my hair is long enough for a bun. Now I’m growing out my side hair and it’s almost long enough for the full man bun. Just a little section of my side hair still sticks out.
OMFG I love ur videos keep going boi ❤️
Does any US based online store sell the alter/nativa coconut shampoo bar featured in the video outside of the UK? Can't get it shipped anywhere outside of that country it's just weird.
Does air drying your hair instead of blow drying or towel further prevent frizziness?
i thought i had straight frizzy hair till i tried curly products (my hair is wavy) and not dry brushing the hell out of my hair and its looked way better ever since then
I champoo my hair once in two weeks, i do wash it in meantime but only water and little conditioner, works good.
I've had a slik moisturized hair when i was a kid , when i started my teenage years my hair started to frizzy curled dry hair that didn't look that good , got any tips to make it slik and smooth again?
This is really helpfull, thank you so much!
Love your content, subscribed.
My hair can get super dry so imma get some hair oil and cream I think, I’m also not going to use shampoo/conditioner as that’s what makes my hair really dry :/
Thanks for the vid man, really insightful 🙏🏻
It’s moist critikal
what about leave in conditioner with e.g. shea butter instead of oil?
Mine is w/o sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, glutens..

I've been growing my hair since 2017 it's so long now idk what to do with it I used to just use shampoo on my hair and that's it but now I'm trying to treat my hair and scalp better

Agreed on cutting down on washing one’s hair. Question is when not washing, do we still get our hair wet when showering?
I need to shower my hair quite a lot because my scalp gets very dry. I have to use sulf shampoo but the negative is that it makes my hair really dry and frizzy, any suggestions?
i just hitted 1 year mark of hair growth and i can put it up in a bun but still some hairs on sides are short and i need to use pins but finally i can do it
I was thinking few minutes ago about cutting ✂️ it off for good all because of this shit

Hey, is it better to let your hair dry naturally or use a hairdryer?
Need that shampoo bar vid
Just stumbled across your CZcams ! Thank you. I struggle with dry scalp, I've grown my hair and have tried so many things. I use OGX argan oil shampoo and conditioner, I then blow dry my hair without product (think this is what the issue is) I only do this because I thought product was making my hair dry.
Hey I just started growing out my hair it’s still on the buzzed stages will a shampoo bar with conditioner effect work?
The name brand is Bambo Earth
i have a really thick long hair and I shampoo everyday and condition it. I work at fast food and I feel like my hair smells and oily if I don't shampoo it. Is 2 shampoo a week really the best?
Hey Luca just wanted to know where you get your rings from?

i have silky straight hair and just as long as yours. I've tried to do Antoine greizmanns' (Barcelonas' footballer) man bun but i pretty much fail most of the time. Could you please please post of tutorial of it
Loop the hairband as doing a full ponytail but for last loop dont pull all the way, leave some for tail and pull some for bun (also search for ponybun)
@@drittevercetti hey man, thanks! Could you also tell me how to get look like greizmanns' hair on the tail. I don't know how to explain but hope you understand. It's like wavy and not dry at all. Also, can't find any video regarding 'man ponybun' although those would help. I understand the method of the the pony bun but can't do it since the pony part in the second loop remains dry in the overall look yk?, would appreciate help. Thank you so much!
@@user-on6fq4pf6d His hair is naturally wavy. You can cure your hair's dryness by proper hair care but you need to do slight curling to get the similar texture. Actually i don't know a video about ponybun, i saw it on manly curls website ( www.manlycurls.com/2015/07/top-4-long-hairstyles-men-hair-type/#:~:text=Ponybun%20hairstyle%20for%20straight%20hair another ponybun method was used at the photo, griezmann's method to tie his hair looks like the method in my first comment). You're welcome
@@drittevercetti tysmmm man!
I have a great tip for you. Do the man bun while your hair is wet and leave the hairs out the bun like Antoine does. Blow dry your hair in the bun position and start messing up the ends of the bun to give it some curl while blow drying.
If you don't wash and condition your hair every day, do you still use the hair cream and oil on a day that you do not wash it? If not, do you just get it wet in the shower?
Hey Luca for somebody that wears a man bun, I'm just curious if you could make a video about the harms of this? I heard that you could cause you hairline to recede ect. I would really appreciate hearing your insight into this, since you also rock the man bun daily.
NEW LUCA VIDEO
Washing my hair about every 3rd shower has made a huge difference for me. I condition only the other days.
Anyone knows what to use to give volume to straight thick hair? And should I use the product while my hair is wet ?
Whats the purpose of a hair cream besides heat protection?
Can I use DryShampoo while trying to get rid of the habbit washing my hair everyday? Literally everytime i wake up in the morning my hair is oily even tho i washed it the day before. I considered switching pillowcases to silk ones but i dont know if that would help.
Be careful touching your hair with your hands. Do that only as little as possible. Also do not use combs and brushes a lot, just once per day
@@nchahine so how am i supposed to maintain my hair?
It has been 7-8months I'm growing out my hair and in the awkward stage right now 🥲 and problems like hair fall, frizzy hair is arising so its my request to make a video on that including the best hair products and hair care routine 🤌🥲
Please do a video on oily hair. This is a serious problem for me.
Man his hair is beautiful
When you do use hair cream when do you end up washing it out? Like I try wash my hair every two days, so in that scenario would you leave the hair cream for those two days then wash it out, would you add more in between etc. or do you wash it out after the day’s end? Sorry if I’m not making my question super clear
It's the same question I'm always wondering too
Nice pfp
Use hair cream when your hair is wet. It is useless to add it to dry hair. After the blowdrying/drying process use some sort of pomade or clay and a tiny bit of hair oil to set in your style and give it some shine. Add some pomade/mousse/cream/gel and heat protectant oils before blowdrying.
Don't add more in between. If you dried and styled your hair properly your hair should be great for the next 2 days. Wash the cream out when it's shampoo day so yeah every 2 days to avoid build up.
What about for those who have Dandruff? How does shampoo frequency change?
What if I use shampoo everyday but I also use hair conditioner everytine as well. Does that effect anything?
I would like to figure out how many days I should go without washing my hair but I'm super afraid of getting into the dandruff region and having to fix that. Btw your hair looks BEAUTIFUL at 3:30
Honestly it looks amazing. I feel like mine looks flat like his at 3:30 before the reveal
When do you apply oil after a shower? Because i shower at night before bed.. is this a problem?
I’m a 20 year old male with long hair pretty much exactly like him in this video. If someone could PLEASE help me and send me links to good and non harmful shampoo and conditioners I will LOVE YOU FOREVER!!

Thank you!
can you apply argon oil to curly hair on a daily basis or is that bad?
My hairs present at back bending upward...what to do to straight it..my hair type is wavy and straight
Man I've been growing my hair out for almost 2 years now and had it trimmed once and the front is down to my chin and the back touches my shoulders pretty much but it always seems dry and frizzy and gets tangled cause its more fine hair and i work at FedEx and the wind is constantly whipping it around in my truck and between that and the dust and me pushing it out of my face all day there's no way i can not wash it when i get home and i know its horrible for it lol. I use biosilk alot though and it helps but need to invest in even better stuff cause im wanting to get an undercut and push it to the side more and with it being fine hair i need to start getting better products but that shit gets expensive
