- A few days ago Adobe released its new mobile editing app called Premiere Rush CC. During the beta period which I took part in, it was called Project Rush. I have been using it for quite some time and overall I am quite impressed with it. It is new and more feature are definitely needed and I am sure we will see Adobe add new elements over time. In this video, I do a quick walkthrough of the Adobe Rush interface and features. A quick tutorial to get you started using Adobe Premiere Rush CC.

Thanks for the review. Since I already am an Adobe subscriber, Rush is another tool in the arsenal for quick mobile editing.
Remember, it was originally designed as a COMPANION app for Premiere elements and Pro. When you bring your project from rush to pro, you can output in 4k easily. Rush lets you edit on site, then offload to Premiere to export a more finished product at higher resolution.
Quality content 💙💙💙
Is there any way to correct lens distortion, i.e., fisheye? I can't seem to find that function.
Can you try this with a bluetooth keyboard and see if it works with shortcuts?
Is ipad 6 incompatible? I think I'm meeting the specifications.
I would really and I mean ‘Really’ like Adobe After effects to be made into an iPad or iPhone software and for free.
I am unable to add music from my iTunes. It’s just grey and can’t be selected even after upgrading. Only sample music is available to add. Do you know how to add iTunes music or other music in iPad to premier rush project on iPad Pro ?
Nice walkthrough - one thing that’s interesting is that it looks like you can show/hide each video track. This is something LumaFusion can’t do surprisingly and is a big handicap to me as I use separate tracks to stack my chosen clips then assemble them in the main track. Could you confirm this is the case?
video start at 3:45
Thanks
Thank youuuu
How come it is not friendly user as iMovie and easily hang on IPAD?
Hi there, I have been watching your videos for a while and have always liked them. Is Rush compatible with Premiere Pro, so if for example I started a project in Rush and saved it to the cloud, could I then open the same project in Premiere Pro on my computer and carry on editing? Thanks again. Cheers, Peter.
How to change speed on video?
AWESOME !!!!
👍
Hello! I'm interested in learning your process for transferring your videos (files) from your recording device (phone) to your iPad and then exporting after editing, because your videos look very good quality, but I am having a hard time getting good quality like this. I'm recording with my galaxy 10s transferring over Google photos, download in Ipad editing there and exporting from there to CZcams, FB or Instagram but quality is not good. Can you help with some tips? Thank you! I really hope you see my comment
I Love your channel ♥️♥️♥️
🙂Thank you very much
Crashes alot for me currently. Hoping it will be more stable after some updates.
I'm looking forward to updates to this app. Currently, it lacks basic functionality. Like the ability to pan and image and more.
I finally found a way of uploading and editing my mav 2 Pro 10 bit h265 footage all using LumaFusion, is this capable of doing the same ?
Yes, 4K H.265 footage is supported.
can you change speed of clips on here with higher fps clips?
scotchwoodsman i want to know the same
Can I do the editing off line or should I need an internet connection? Thanks
I’ve tried and you can edit with no connection but you need connection to save it to albums
Do you speed up videos I’m so confused I need help I’m trying to get this done
What do you need help with?
Looks great. But I don't want to rent software. Hopefully Apple will release Final Cut for the iPad soon.
The more applications on the market the better in Final Cut would definitely be a great addition. I really hope that Apple doesn’t take up the subscription model
Available on note 8 samsungs and up no need for ipad
As soon as you mentioned subscription I was no longer interested. Going to try luma fusion instead
👍🏻
I really hope the Photoshop version for the iPad is not as weak as this washed out version of Premier.
What about Adobe Clip. You say that Adobe didn't have mobile video editing apps, but I've been using Adobe Clip for a while.
Yes you are correct, that statement is more to do with timeline editing or multi track editing. I don’t be clips is more of an auto generated editing tool similar to that of gopro quik. Adobe clips Is actually pretty handy are use it from time to time I was actually working on a video that I haven’t quite finished yet but it was basically a comparison of Adobe clips and gopro quick
true that. Adobe clips is very limiting and I'm excited for the more tools offered through rush. Can't wait to try it out. Your video has excited me to maybe do a bit more mobile editing when I travel.
Adobe Clip will still be around. The focus for Adobe is on Rush, however.
@@SeekOutTheAdventure adobe clip actually has the ability to slow down footage... Adobe rush doesn't. Very disappointing.
@@isaacsimmonds3119 very true. I'm hoping and waiting for a RUSH update that allows for slowing down or speeding up video clips.
LumaFusion destroys this except for the 4th video track.
Yes indeed and I believe we will see a fourth track in Lumafusion in an upcoming release
Discovered Air Photography's LumaFusion tutorials thanks to an Adobe thread from frustrated Rush users, one of whom recommended LF. Thanks Air Photography for the stellar LF tutorials! Rush's fourth audio track does not make up for its instability and $200 price tag.
Yeah I love LumaFusion
Is there a chroma key?
Yes chromakey editing is fully support it in LumaFusion. I made a tutorial that kind of shows it in action when I was keying out color for a hand writing titling tutorial.
Screw that. I'm not renting any software, ever.
🤣🤣👌👌
Lumafusion is as good and efficient as this APR is ridiculous. What is unbelievable above all is that you can not import sources from a SSD external disk (Lumafusion does) or Icloud (I am on IPAD) or even Google drive !!! I wanted to record a complete tutorial (in french) about this product as I did for Lumafusion 2.x (3h20 on tuto.com)... But I gave up :D no time to waste on It!
I'd gladly pay an amount for the full version, not a subscription. But thanks for the review, I was wondering how good it was.
Tried it. It's slow with lots of bugs. Luma is so much better, and cheaper, no need for another Adobe expensive product.
Can you please do a GoPro quick edit tutorial
Yes I will be doing a more in-depth editing technique video coming soon
Companies will always find a way to keep collecting money from users. for a video editing software I thinks its much better buying it once and for all rather than paying monthly subscriptions over and over again!
I agree that price is always a consideration. However, Rush is more than an app. It's more of an editing ecosystem that leverages the Cloud. It's really Adobe's best use of Creative Cloud, in that the service of data and media hosting is all in the Cloud. Unfortunately, services like this do cost money. So, that's the reason for the added cost.
Example: you are cutting clips you shot on your iPhone in 4K at the bus stop. Clips you shot with the Rush app, which is pretty sophisticated. You head home. The cut is intact on your iPad in your living room. You keep cutting. You go to work the next day. Your laptop has the changes you made the night before on the iPad. Finally, you import this cut into Premiere Pro for fine cutting, color correction, and other things that you could not add with Rush.
Could you do all that with another app? Let me know if you know of any mobile editing apps that stay synced to the Cloud the way Rush does. I'd like to check those out.
as soon as you said subscription i clicked close. stuff that, affinity photo is much better
Not a fan of subscriptions myself
FOR iPad ? Download?
Yes for iPad, iPhone and even for pc. You can download it via the App Store
@@AirPhotography link download? I did not find it in the store Apple.
Monthly fee kills it for me. Adobe is greedy, IMO.
Too little, too late. Affinity Photo and LumaFusion are so much better and cheaper. Screw Adobe. Rush looks like junk.
Chris Quillen “looks like junk”....so you’re trashing the product without having even used it 😂😂😂 What a buster
❤TwightHeart❤ Yes, but only three exports.
It looks like junk just like you
Plz help me sir I'm from India plz I don't have camera for making a video please sir give me your old camera
Sachin Giri vlogs you can start by spelling out please properly.
Explain your Profile pic then
The sleeping giant (Adobe) has been awoken.
The pricing structure is a shame....and I pay for Lightroom mobile $9. But this doesn’t hold a candle to Lumafusion
Until it runs on Android, it's worthless.
It's coming ASAP.
No ones gonna edit on a android tablet
@@DeanDcruz - except for the many of us who do because we don't want to deal with all the issues with iOS
It is truly amazing that software developers choose to ignore a platform that well over 50% of the world uses.
