Dude, that ship isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem. i have done a whole lot of damage in it. I have come to notice that the secondaries have the best damage output at around 7.5-8kms

Matthew Yakush yeah it might be able to do a lot of damage if you have skill but every time I find a Bismarck broadside I get at least 5 penetrations for a total of 20k without any citadels and when it try’s to shoot back it misses every shell except one and that shell ricochets

First thing I thought when I saw the ship “Damn, it looks really high in the water and easy to target! Citadels all day!!” Lol
Actually it has a very small citadel so unlikely it will be citadeled but it ha sno armor so it is very susceptible to get penned by everything and Japanese HE melts it hard
No kidding I was in the Bayern and completely erased it with 3 citadels from just the front two guns

It’s freeboard is crazy
More like "overpens all day". The County-class had high freeboard for sea-keeping, but very little armor. This ship has more because she's second flight and her modernization, but it's still pretty light. There's only so much you can put on 10k tons with a 30kt speed and 8x8" guns. Her belt is readily apparent when you look at her. Anything else is essentially unarmored, apart from the armor deck which closes the top of the belt. Mostly.

Well the heavies in the alternative line is gonna have he so only one ship the Belfast has that power but she trades it off with torps
These are British heavy cruisers that sit very high above the water have high caliber guns and can HE will get the grindable line soon
Like everyone else has pointed out.... Only the British light cruisers are limited ap (bar Belfast, and the Black Swan)
So what your telling me. Is that yes... their premium cruisers are still the only ships that shoot HE. Regardless if they are light cruisers....
@@NotTheBomb when the heavy cruiser lines arrives from WoWS to Blitz, they'll all be firing HE and AP
I use John Jellicoe at 16.3 and the heal can repair 40% of total HP, providing it's not citadels and if you take the fully packed perk you get 3x health ribbons, it's hard not to get dreadnought medal every game!
Plus I run the concealment perk and Mikawa 16 so you can get concealment down to 9 kilometres. I prefer to run that set up on the Exeter.
Jacen Dex Productions exeter is also kinda thin armor? Once I got 1 salvo demolition vs exeter in New Yorck. Was surprised... or just lucky rng.
@@olegwinner Yes it's not the thickest armour, in a way that's good if you get shot in the side of the bow or stern as you will only suffer over pens not citadels, but it is possible to receive citadels through the front of the bow. I suppose my playstyle is like a large Destroyer with the improved concealment and smoke, but it's kiting play is strong too.
I found one of these in my arizona and laughed at how tall it sat out of the water. I proceeded to one shot it to add to my enjoyment :D
I've noticed a trend. WG tends to add a premium version of a line they plan to add soon and since it has 203's. I'd say a Heavy cruiser line will be added sometime in the future for the RN. We got Atlanta then Boise for USN then we got a branch for light cruisers.
Who else thinks ppl defending the base with an enemy ship nearby should get extra points towards their xp? I literally had to stay at the base keeping a dd from capping for 8min and only got 800xp in a tier7 match as a result my team was able to win by capping cuz of it
Technically they do as long as they are getting defense ribbons

I’ve noticed a good maneuver that helps is when you try to avoid getting hit by those torps and you try to go the opposite way I hit full reverse and then speed up the torps will overshoot you and they will miss.

GG. My Aunty would of called her clever, she meant ugly. So much to hit, I think I will love her from a BB perspective. Hey spartan I’m really close to the legendary GK what captain should I use cause I have a maxed out otto for a secondary build but I didn’t get Henry Hide when he came back out do you think I could use Otto on the GK?
Congrats and personally if all you have is Otto or Hipper I would use Hipper because the gun accuracy buffs will really benefit this ship more than the secondary build.
I agree with Spartan, the secondaries are not the 7.5km secondaries on the Bismarck. Großer Kurfürst has actually good accuracy so I recommend Hipper. Ciliax is meant for a survivability/secondary build and you’ll be handicapped by not having the extra main gun range.

I would say Atago or Wichita is the best premium cruisers with Prinz Eugen right there with them.

You’re using H.E rounds you need to aim for the superstructure of the ship. It will do the most damage. And when you are using A.P rounds you aim for the weapons and the deck near the engine.

22.5 fastest turret traverse for any 203 guns and in actuality is very fast only beaten by Cleveland light cruiser and SOME dds not all.

That's been my biggest complaint lately. CA players run away and often hide at the bottom of the map, DD's zerg rush straight up the middle and die right away...and my FPE is stuck in the middle getting destroyed by everything that can hit it. Way too many potatoes out there these days

Probably awhile from now but not too far. They need to add the alternate IJN DD tree first and the pan-asian and pan-European DDs.
Italian BBS aren’t even in PC. They’ve only just been announced.
How do you guys earn credits faster? I have like three ships unlocked but I cant afford them.
Premium time and premium ships help a lot but if you don't have those then definitely run mostly tier 5 or tier 6 and do well and you'll earn decent money

Took me a week of playing but I finally saved up 18mil for the Baltimore. Save those credit boosters and use them in some tier 5-6 games. I was averaging at least 200k per game.
