Ive been training and i would be really grateful if you could tell me what to do and not to do at the A1 exam. Its kinda hard ( the speaking hard is the most hardest) What to do if you dont know how to answer or dont know much about the topic.
The introduction part can be prepared 100%. For the other parts, it is important to practise a lot of ‚core topics‘, including the vocabulary for these topics (food, shopping, hobbies, and similar). There is also an A1 list of vocabulary, by the way. Also review how to ask questions. I know it’s difficult, but if you are well prepared, you’ll probably pass (and maybe even do very well!). Nicht jedes Wort in diesem Video ist A1-Niveau. Man darf (wenn man geprüft wird) natürlich auch mehr bzw. andere Wörter verwenden, und das ist auch sicher kein Nachteil.

Hi, different schools/institutions have different exams and regulations, and they also change them sometimes. ÖSD is similar to Goethe - but there are differences. Make sure to always search for an official model exam, depending on what text you want to take! Good luck!

Ja, es gibt auch eine offizielle Wortliste für A1. Noch wichtiger ist es aber (finde ich), dass man die Alltagsphrasen gut kennt (sich vorstellen, einkaufen, Uhrzeit, usw.).
I now know i am no where near a1 :( i mean i did understand maybe half of all that was said here i know certain words but forming entire sentences on your own is so intimidating

Hi, I have been learning Deutsch on Duolingo and I recently came across this channel and some courses on udemy Now I see some differences from what I am used to on Duolingo and what I am seeing here, for example Ich heiße kene from Duolingo == mein name ist kene here Ich leben in Russland == ich wohne in russland (among other differences I have noticed) - Are there variants or are there just different contexts to use some words? - Is it advisable to continue learning with Duolingo in addition to videos like this? I will appreciate a response from anyone
Hi! ‚Ich heiße‘ and ‚Mein Name ist‘ more or less the same. Both phrases are quite formal, more casual (among friends and young people) is ‚Ich bin …‘. ‚wohnen‘ can be a bit more temporary than ‚leben‘. You can say ‚Ich wohne zur Zeit in …‘ ‚ whereas ‚leben‘ is more definite and long term, you use the word to refer to a more permanent life situation. I am not familiar with Duolingo German, but I think Duolingo (in general) is fun and practical to extend vocabulary on the go. As long as you feel that it helps you learn, it might still be a good additional tool!

Das ist nur der mündliche Teil (Sprechen). Man muss auch die übrigen Teile bestehen (Hören und Lesen/Schreiben).

German is my native language and I even think a lot of this is not suitable for A1. Many of the instructions are at like B1 level, not A1.

I am not familiar with Duolingo German, but I think Duolingo (in general) is fun and practical to extend vocabulary on the go. As long as you feel that it helps you learn, it might still be a good additional tool!
