I will say, his religious superstitions are a real thing, both in that he does hold religious superstitions and in that his religion is existent and legitimate. It's not an excuse for telling his audience to support the death of a large number of people for existing within the wrong national boarders, however. God may be real and belief in the good in this man (He is good at putting hope in unfit places) but that doesn't turn Ben into an honest actor.
Yes, this is two years late, so while I'm at answering two year old comments: In my opinion, if anything is a crux to modern strife, it is the insistance that only one reality can be true and rational and that one must always appear like one knows exactly what that reality is to remain supreme in dialogue. I also don't think that there's a crux to the strife on this planet, tho giving Ben Shapiro and anyone who thinks like him some tools for genuine self-reflection would be a godsent.
