  • @wilsonsandviviennethevan.3090

I think that was the best sports interviews I've ever listened to. Honest and laying it all out there as an England fan it s so refreshing to hear a player speaking from the heart and not following the script.
It's what the media have prevented over the years with their witch hunts and scape goats.
Well done I wish you all the best in Toulon and will follow your progress with huge interest.
    Really inspirational stuff
    Thank you Karl and GBR

What an incredible interview... Sinks truly is a big man... it is the right thing to take ownership and responsibility and look to improve but, as an England fan, although I could see that Kyle was not at the heights he had reached before, it never crossed my mind that he was solely responsible for our defeat by SA in World Cup 2024.
Something that does worry me is that the England players feel unable to express themselves like this off the pitch - and, to be honest, the national team sometimes feels to me like they are unable to express themselves on the pitch (maybe it is connected) - I hope that GBR and the examples of Jonny and Kyle allow other players to be themselves a bit more, as they have a whole country willing them well.
Look forward to Sinckler Mk II - hope everything goes well in France.

    Wow - What an episode.
I've been a GBR supporter for a while now, but more recently I've been switching to Ben/Dans For the Love of Rugby as GBR has been a little beige recently, especially in comparason to the George Ford epsiode, but wow, this has but GBR into the stratosphere. Rugby aside, we've had the privilege of watching/listening to the story of a boy turning into a man and as a big fan of 'the daddy' I am in awe of his story and the delivery of it - what a great guest, great episode and great yellow socks

Looked like he was close to be backing to his best at the end of the season with Briz. A big man to face up to it. Very articulate and continues to be an inspiration. Love to see more of him on shows like this. Good luck for the future Kyle.

Great to hear Kyle so happy and excited and motivated . He’s in a great space and I wish him well. Only read about him really and thought attitude was his biggest problem . Comes across on here completely different to his media image. Wish him well and hopefully we can get to see him in an England shirt again. Reckon we will have him not only back to his best , but maybe better than ever. Just imagine this team that Borthwick is putting together now ,gaining a tighthead as good and experienced as him.

One thing that strikes me: It'd be such a shame if scrums are diminished.
Props are such unique people, in their conditioning, physique, their job on the field, their lifestyle and backstories before coming into the game. We need to keep them and their stories in this game. I honestly enjoy hearing them talk a lot more sometimes than wingers and the flashy lot.

The “back” story is compelling. South London, single parent household, the chance encounter at a 12 / 13 age group rugby game, Epsom college, and then all the professional rugby achievements. How different may that have been if he was also raised by his father. How ironic and poignant the nickname of “Daddy”. Best of luck for Toulon.

Biggup Sinklar for speaking so candidly, perforctly demonstrates the new found mentality and attitude.
