I know this died long ago, but I've been there myself, about a year now, and yes, is a desperate place to be, I did inspected the Emperor's Clothes, and I'll be honest, those clothes are magnificent, white as snow, shining as the Sun, and they cast no shadow, but it'll take all of you to find them, that's what Francis is talking about. My best advice: cry out to Him, even as you are doubting who you are crying out to, and don't give up, He rewards those who earnestly, diligently seek after Him.

Because as soon as this guy walks to the mic the crowd is cheering ecastically to welcome him - but he immediately calms them down and brings their focus to our God instead of himself. Praise God!
The Lord's presence is so real in times of anguish and distress. I couldn't count the times when he wiped away every tear and he still does. He couldn't be any closer than in solitude. I affirm and strongly believe that He is a way maker and the God of miracles! So let us rejoice in trials and persecutions because God always manifests his glory and his abounding grace to those who's refuge and stregth is He.

This teaching ministered to my spirit. This is a great teaching on how to achieve a deeper, meaningful, authentic relationship with God. How to truly walk as He did, and how to line up and act in obedience to His will and purpose for my life. Thank you Pastor Francis and God Bless you!

So he can fill it up. Bc he cant do anything with something that is already full. Keep crying out to him. He will never turn away a broken and repentant heart. "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6 Don't lose faith. God is real! Jesus is real! And we can know because he works in our lives everyday, because he opens eyes and ears to hear. :)

Im a new born Christian in 1991 but it took me 24 years to what other people takes one year or less ,i didn't want to let go of materials thing's ,God doesn't response to just anybody's prayers you have to find that channel first (it's like you trying to communicate to an ants farm you can see them but they can't see you )thats why he had to come down to us because we can't go up to him ,ones you put Jesus in you life as the most and only number one before your family your job uou money and receive the holyspirit (the holyspirit is the channel)and love Jesus whit all you passion all you heart and believe in him 100% only then God will response see god only response to faith.

The Scripture says God only listens to the righteous/saints many times--you should search this on your own though. It actually says if sinners pray to God, God considers their prayer an abomination. Now if a sinner repents, then yes--God will listen to the humble and contrite who turn back to Him.

Just saying, I'm fairly certain Francis is about getting his picture taken while he is praying. I will bet money it's discouraging and frustrating. He doesn't want to be, or be treated, like a rock star. He just wants to be a disciple of Christ and a teacher.
i was noticing this too and thought "Why are so many people taking pictures of him...he is just trying to serve and people are taking pictures of HIM."
Look at the surroundings: it's the type of group. In some review of Azusa, born out of prayer, holiness, humility, no instruments. As things developed contentions (pride) occurred and things changed for the worse. Perhaps the invitation from Chan was born out of seeking God. God is holy and does not change.

All you have to do is ask creationists/religious people "Are you even remotely open to the possibility of admitting error and changing your beliefs in the face of new information?"...If "yes" then continue the conversation/debate...If "no" then walk away from them...

This is the message that led to me not even trying to pray anymore. At a time when i was fighting to grow closer with God. I would pray on the drive home everyday. I'm not a novice in faith. I'm just starting to doubt the sincerity of my constant repentance of continued sins.

How joyous when God answers your prayers. Take a look at your prayer life. Were any of your prayers answered? Desire a relationship with Jesus Christ. You will not regret it!!!
God doesn't need mary to tell Jesus, your prayers. I can ask a living person to pray for me. Mary had her own prayers to attend to. she told people at a wedding to do as he says. She didn't tell the people what he had commanded.
Jesus is not deaf that he needs a woman he created 2000 years ago while he Jesus/God has been around since before time hearing our prayers just fine. Did God become deaf? or overworked and overwhelmed with prayers? Why do we need Mary or any Saint dead today to pray for us. God tells them in the afterlife what we are praying, not them hearing us. Mary is never exalted above anyone except that she was favored out of all women for the task of recieving Jesus in her womb. Nothing after this.

I watched that video of Francis and the bee bee gun and that guy who believed, after he had it in his mouth, Francis didn't shoot it while he had it in his mouth, the guy left the stage and Francis shot the balloon and missed it three times!! He didn't hit it at all! Maybe he's taking about another sermon I didn't see but the one I did he missed the balloon! 3times!

he does but he only intercedes for thoose that have the right heart of humility and repetance where they live like jesus as francis did not perfect people but people of gods grace .. So he hears the cries of non believers and from that he can be soverign and work with thoose that call on him as the bible says seek me and u will find but doesnt say seek me and ill intercede we find him in prayer and god intereceds based on how respond to how we find him

I always ask the same question. I hear people say "god answered my prayer, I was looking for work." What about that poor child that is about to be raped, and is crying out to god. Why didn't his prayer get answered?

Can people please tell me why they believe that God and miracles are real? Why is the Bible credible? I came to believe in Christ when I was 14 because of miracles I saw happen to a friend of mine, but since then she has proven to be a pathological liar and is no longer associated with me or any of our mutual friends. Now I don't feel like I can trust my own testimony and every time I hear testimonies or The Word I automatically explain it away. I am so full of doubt. Please help.

God is powerful. I believe similarly to this Francis preach by answered prayers, people are imperfect and so your testimony shouldn’t be based on them but a personal relationship (asking God yourself for answers and pray for something only He can provide you). On another note Tithes is the only place God allows us to “test” him so look into that if you give as God humble to open the flood gates as he promises in his word and you’ll see 😉 God is soooo great! ❤️
Praying is a form of positive energy to boost up hope. Geocentricism, narcissism, and delusion are some of the side effects of intelligence. If your evidence for God is your lucky escape from a desperate situation thinking God answered your prayers, then thousands of other not surviving their desperate situation with ignored prayers are much better evidence that there is no God. It's your geocentricism and narcissism that makes you think God chose to save you amongst thousands of others at that moment.
Please Americans, stop pushing pride on good people. The way you praise people into heaven is an unhealthy thing indeed. Those introductions of speakers are not good for anything at all! In fact, I think it is rather a work of the devil to lift people up above their means. Any speaker is also battling sin still. Let people humble themselves, so God can lift them up. Let us have respect for each other without overdoing it.
PS: I wrote this after watching the first minute. Before I posted, I noticed something written underneath, which I read, and obviously I am not the only Christian, who was unpleasantly surprised by this. I didn't write this, because others did, for I hadn't even seen what they wrote. Stop overdoing it. Or do you want to see someone fall, because you laid traps out for him? I know what it feels like to be praised like that and it is feeding the fleshly nature, that's supposed to be crucified instead. Not a good way to start a sermon at all.
