Why are Kenyans so obsessed with results? Education is a process and there are very many variables that these so called results fail to take into account. We are a very sorry society that celebrates seclusion and the entrenchment of an elite society whereby the masses in rural schools who cannot, through several failed governments, afford proper educational facilities are left behind and a few (exceptions exist) crammers celebrated. We need a wholesome approach that localizes education to make everyone successful. In our system 3 to 4 days of exams can make a big difference in the lives of children who otherwise are great overall students. A sad obsession with results!
