For people saying Heera is good, develop some taste bro. Audio is not just restricted to bass. The better the quality, price will increase too.
@ajsuraj hi! For a true 5.1 surround sound you need a A/V receiver and 5 passive speakers and a active sub woofer without this, there is no true 5.1 setup.
it's a complete myth.
Even if you connect this 5.1 Logitech subwoofer with a dedicated sound card i.e Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Fx, still this subwoofer won't be able to perform like a proper home theater setup which consists mainly with an a/v receiver and 5 passive and a powered subwoofer.
This is a 5.1 Computer Speaker,
designed mainly for gaming not for music.
For authentic 5.1 surround sound to enjoy movies you need separate components.
For loud heavy music JBL Party box 310 can be a great choice!
People really should not consider computer speakers for loud music.

Audiophile guru, and you think that iv300 is good? Ha ha,that thing leans more towards artificial sound stage. The subwoofer is the worst. Specially tuned for Indian loud music listeners. The sub simply cut-offs when reached 46hz. And has boosted upperbass. This is the reason why it's famous only in india. You cannot find a single video of the same from a country outside India. It's a flop model. Unbalanced bass, artificial mids and highs. And you have to learn this first. Like the mids and highs,bass too is important. If your system is not good at bass,then throw them away. Cause every audio file created, whether for movies, music or games definitely have bass frequencies like lower bass,mid bass and upper bass. Here,the lower bass are only pronounced by those subwoofers, which are of premium quality. The Logitech THX subs are good at lows, which keeps them neck to neck with expensive active subwoofers from Klipsch,bic America,Polk ,JBL and so on and with some spl car subwoofers like pioneer champion pro tsw3003d4 12 inch SPL car sub. You know what,the Klipsch ls150 15 inch subwoofer worth one lakh rupees, and the Logitech z906 has same low frequency extension at same volume level. And if you're a "fan of balanced natural sound" try bookshelf speakers or monitoring speakers. Try listening the Sony SS cs55 if you prefer sony. And if you're blown away by the iv300,then you should change your name from audiophileguru to something else..

I have both iv 300 sub and car audio subs, and completely agree with you.
Sony iv 300 sub box tuned to higher frequency around 50-60 hz for indians ( boomy loud upper bass).
But the subwoofer is very good , made custom enclosure tuned to around 36 hz , now it sounds like car audio deep bass.
I am using Sony vx333 speaker with an cheapest amplifier but the sound quality of Sony is excellent.......

Very good quality sound. The controller stopped working after 5years. The issue is with service support from Logitech. You get support only during warranty period. After warranty expired there is no paid support. I got the system repaired by local technician.

Logitech support dts better than dolby. Dts & dts hd master audio comfortably support in logitech but in dolby only dolby digital format it can play which is lossy with lower bitrate 640kb and dts starts wit 1.5 to 6mb bitrate. So choice is yours.

These kind of dubbas like f&d etc are toys compared to monster systems like that of Logitech. In case you don't know,the KLIPSCH ls 150 15inch active subwoofer worth one lakh rupees and the Logitech z906 has same low frequency extension. And that being said,the Logitech z906/z623 sub roll of at 32hz,just like giant spl car subwoofers,and gets low down to 29hz depending room acoustics.
That f&d toys won't pronounce lows. They use woofers instead of subwoofers. Only delivers mid and upper bass.

Iv300😂 the only model from Sony which even sony don't like to remember. First of all,the subwoofer is tuned to high. The sub cutoffs when reached 46hz. Same like local market tower speakers. Whereas the z906 digs deep down to 24hz depending room acoustics and outputs brutal lows like spl car subwoofers. The iv300 is only famous in India. Sony discontinued the same suddenly. Because of its pathetic bass response and unnatural sound stage.

Logitech z906 is actually superb if somebody knows about sound, they are the only ones with THX CERTIFIED HOME THEATRE UNDER 30K, REST IS HISTORY , I Have been using it since 9 years...still the. Baap of all...sony and all please no comparison at all , if you've good knowledge about mids and highs , sony is all about vibration of bass , Logitech has actually worked out like BOSE

This home theatre system is way too old. No bluetooth, no HDMI Arc, No Dolby Atmos, It was cheaper 15 years ago. But the sound quality is really great.
