Nürburgring Nordschleife check your mirrors! E30 318is

We just wanted to go out and do a lap with some E30 friends. Then the M2 blocked me around 70% of the lap...
Problems with a car which doesnt have that much hp...
Hope for a better lap next time :D

@@Jan_20832 Next time just leave him alone. Not worth it. He is a try-hard. Have seen this very often around race tracks. His testosteron is preventing him of letting an "inferior" car overtake him. He did notice you, and he viewed his mirrors, but in his brain he was racing and competing against you.

I have been resurrecting a 91 318is that sat in a field for 4 years, from almost nothing working and mice living inside to clean and almost daily driver level now. Will never take it on a track and drive it this hard but it's fun to see what they can do. Great driving

My car was in very bad condition when I bought it... So I took everything out put the cage in etc.

@@Jan_20832 by some stroke of luck the interior in mine cleaned up very well, even the dash only has two small cracks and the headliner doesn't sag at all. Mice were living in the glove box and the heater core/fan box and that was the nastiest part. Fortunately it had an aftermarket security and cruise system in it so when they decided to eat the wires they left the factory German wiring alone and went for the newer soy insulated wires. I was going to remove that stuff any way so out it went!

Gestern mit nem E90 M3 erlebt, falscher Stolz denk ich immer. Alles was der M2 machen muss ist 15 Sekunden auf der Geraden kein Vollgas geben und du bist vorbei. Den rest der Runde steht keiner dem anderen im Weg und alles ist gut, aber nein die Kollegen wollen nicht von einem 130PS Auto in ihrem +300PS wagen überholt werden.

M2 kind of like a motorcycle. Slow in the corner but better acceleration. Should move over, but does not have to slow down.

@@Jan_20832 It is kind of nice to pass a few cars. A challenge to go from being passed by every one to passing a few cars. A new skill.
The 911 Ring Taxi passed me almost every lap. We became friends. ha.
