my favourite part was that one last hospital scene, where jaeyeol put kangwoo's new shoes on for him. the drama as a whole, before said scene, wasn't anywhere near special to me, but that scene was just. it all hit me at once. and listening to this song again brought the feelings back.

I remember the first time I stumbled upon this song, It was 3 in the morning back in my senior year at college. I was going through shit. I remember listening to it on loop and crying like a baby and getting more and more depressed. But after a while-- while listening to this very song, I grew out of depression. The amount of strength it gave me, firstly to open up to what I was feeling and then getting over it. I hope it can make you all feel happiness and make you strong. And remember you are loved.

In a way, it's best to just have things be the same. But, change doesn't have to be a bad thing. It can bring beauty and joy and wonders we never thought possible. Although Nothing Gold Can Stay, we can always remember the good times we had. And hope that one day, when it's time to go, we can relive them one last time.

It feels like it's about the first of the real struggles of no longer being cared for, but being the caretaker. This song feels to me like it's about the 25 year old boy that we all see as a man, but really sees more joy in play than in the money and expectations. It feels quite heartbreaking to me. And it makes me feel like I didn't get enough out of my childhood.

This is one of the few songs that is painful for me to listen to. I love it so much, but it just brings up a deep seated sadness that I can't very well describe. It's beautiful and haunting at the same time. If I was asked to describe this song in one word, I would reply with "Art".

But to add on, maybe this song has to do with relationships and childhood (how in some ways you never really "grow up"), and that people should just be themselves instead of keeping up a look. Also, refering to recent times like the great recession in the references to money and the american dream. Either way, this song never gets dull.
