In 1967 Me a friend&2 girls were in my 1959 Pontiac.....I went to turn around it was the hardest rain I had ever seen,I could feel the car sink...No phones near,Next morn a man in a nearly new Tempest gave us a pull out...a very nice&kind man,I'm still grateful😊,Not many as that nice anymore😑.
They'll work in deep mud, to a point--if you're stuck on level ground... but for really muddy, slick ground, trying to get up a hill we couldn't get them to work. The truck was an older F250, and we only succeeded in pounding the truck so hard the exhaust broke loose at the catalytic converter. We tried the truck claws twice on wet pasture land, and in neither case were they effective at moving the truck forward; they just dug very deep holes in that terrain.
I used take my girlfriends mudding . I used to get stuck in the mud all the time. So they thought. Get them in the back seat have our own fun then when we where done I'd climb back up put it in 4 wheel drive and crawl out and go home. 90% of the time worked every time.
Looks like you would want to fit the extensions first up if you think you might need them. Once the claw is full of material it may not be so easy. I can see these ripping at parts of the bodywork. Offroaders tend to fit bigger tyres so there isnt much space in the guards.
I just bought 4 of these things! they are amazing, only $30 too! ONE single 2x4 and 4 straps at the home improvement or hardware store and youre in business.
I run 18x39.5x15 superswamper boggers on my bronco. Never needed something like this... but 3 inch channel iron and 2 bolts and a ratchet strap says ill have a set just for fun.
@@nuclearjanitors 88. With 90 f350 axles. Cage off rd radius arms, deaver coils, deaver long travel leafs 6inch lift, welded diffs, 18x39.5x15 boggers, 408w , np435/np208. It's very well built and dependable
Truck claws do not work in soupy mud; found this out 11/13/18.. Duramax 2500 was on the frame in 4x4 mode completely stuck unlike in the video. The device was installed with wood in place like video and the strap broke when the device grabbed the wood. In the video the second truck surly wasn't in 4x4 in the beginning. After the claws were installed the truck was then put in 4X4 so obvious... Frame the entire truck in 4x4 and then post a vid of how good they work...
I've been driving back roads since I was 16 ... got my 1974 Dodge Valiant stuck SO many times :) ... one of the first tools i ever bought was a medium size electric winch, (it's a 5000 pound modle) I rigged it up so it was portable, with a base plate, jumper cables, and a ball hitch ... saved my ass dozens of times since, after i got a pick up truck, I added a couple pulleys and a spare battery some rigging etc.
Mike Baxter my buddy had a diplomat that out did my friends 4x4 super duty on logging trails lol some people can’t drive we rode on top of 2 foot deep ruts and went threw some sick mud! My friend with the super duty couldn’t make its thew the ruts and they were down hill! Good memories one thing I’ll never forget
Will this work on sand I got a regular ford 2014 xlt I got stuck in sand my back tires thank God someone helped me I mean thank God man I'm looking for traction on sand
what happens when the wheel goes up in the wheel well with that thing on probably won’t be pretty max tracks will probably have more use then these would
I have used these twice on a beach. They compounded the problem, the car dug itself in further both times. Very disappointed. I needed a sand jack and my trusty MAX TRAX both times to save the day.
Unless you've got a lockable diff surely you'll need two of them or the power will flood to the wheel without one on? I've improvised solutions like this with rope which have proved effective providing the ground is not ridiculously bad.
The first problem is that it’s a Volkswagen pickup truck, if you wouldn’t have bought such a shitty truck in the first place you wouldn’t have this issue

I strapped a pair to my shoes now I'm climbing mountains.
Are there videos of this ripping through a fender or quarter panel?;)
I usually tell the wife to push, works every time.
Yes definitely!!!
@@tylerpassannante3868 Dude not even I could have thought about that... 👨🔬
Very funny 😁😂🤣
Hey you got to get rid of the extra weight
Yeah but does she go to the front or back ?
i use 1" by 4" aluminum
With $10 tie-down
You can buy the aluminum in Home Depot for $10
A simple yet very effective design.. Brilliant
This works so well, I bought one for each tire and leave them on all the time.
I bet DOT loves you
Lol
"vs" implies you're showing two products
OH MY GOD! This is absolutely BRILLIANT!!
I use these to get my shopping trolley unbogged at the supermarket car park. 5/5 would recommend.

@Rob Zombeh why are you upset with tong spoons comment? It's like when men bitch. About people bitching.
Sheep.
What Dick said👍🏻
that just shows you the power of a Ford
@Rob Zombeh ... his name is Tong Spoon. He was born with a phallic shaped spoon in his mouth. :)
@@FuelTankerMan that was a good comeback! Lol
Wish I had these when I was younger! Got stuck soo many times
Good on you guy's, thanks a lot
Not a bad idea under the right circumstances & having the right wheels that they'll work with.
Wait tell it hits a rock and rips the CENTER OF THE WHEEL OUT
Need more than one for ice probably, great product👍😀
Whenever someone selling off road shit has an Aussie accent I automatically assume that it's good.
Funny, I think just the opposite, you can't even buy these grossly over priced thing on their web site
Great idea!
I've used Firewood and ratchet straps before on my Ml430 stuck in snow
Good idea mate
Great idea.
Nice job, I'll buy one....
When they show the extenders and using the log, you can see the extender bend.
Heck put about 5 or 6 of them on the back of both rear tires before you get stuck!
Muito bom!!!!
Para as estradas Brasileiras
Nice invention.
Wish I had these yesterday, I was driving near lake which I thought was dry until my durango sank into stickiest mud I have ever seen.
looks like a winner. love mev 🐴
Amazing trick

Hell yeah brother!!!!!
90% percent of the time worked every time? Huh?
Take it you never seen anchorman
Only works if your girlfriends are fat asses!
@@dzlf2504 - sex panther : 90% of the time it works every time! 😂

It's good idea. Very help full👍👍🙏🙏
I like it!
I always fit them when I am driving home from the pub , they help to keep me awake 😴
I just bought 4 of these things! they are amazing, only $30 too! ONE single 2x4 and 4 straps at the home improvement or hardware store and youre in business.
Thats an old trick. I been carrying a piece of 2x4 with strap for atleast 20 years now.
Do they bend? Looks like they would especially when the extension is in. Any weight restrictions?
Muy practico👍👍
Hola es genial vuestra idea
Muchas gracias por vuestro consejo
I use these on baby's pram, gets it unstuck every time. Highly recommended.
I have used a two by four piece of wood that I carry in my jeep and a strap
that's exactly what I'm looking to use, just not sure if they'll work in soft sand. i guessing it will
Exactly guy. Just a LAME ATTEMPT AT A CASH GRAB!
A 2x4 works really great and ratchet straps are cheap.
Oh i need this in my life 😍
Will it help in snow
Omg! Why are we not funding this!! What a great idea.
Браво! Отличная приспособа!
Love it powerful

LoL I can't imagine your truck getting stuck in anything with those big ol tires!
👍 my dad ran 44 inch superswampers on his k5 blazer back when he was a teen. He said they were loud as fuck on the road, but he never got stuck

Muito boa essa ferramenta que
Muy bueno ,no entendí como se amarra
How would those fit on a vehicle that has brake calipers which fit close to the wheel?? I don't think they'd work in that case.
Genius idea
great idea,
but it is extremely overpriced !!
however, it's a great idea and I will do it myself !!
You are aware you can do this with a rope and board right? This is a more durable method designed to last long term. It's cheaper than a tow truck.
Did anybody see what it did to the ratchet Handel one time use

When the extruded aluminium gets bent under the weight of a land cruiser fully loaded its a once of use. Haven’t bent or broke my max track yet.
Good point! I wonder why they don't make'em outta steel?
That's COOL.
I use a 2x4 and a strap.
If there are suspension bits close to the tyres, as in a forester, these things will hit them. But good for other fourbies.
Snow chains bundled up and through the rim would also work.
Very simple and effective.
A must have for all off readers.
be handy if you had a link where to buy them
Where do you go to order them ...need two of them..

How are they in sand?
How about with deflated tires?
I wonder if it already in the market?

shoulda used a 2x4 lol
Hell yea
Good homies
Were can I get some
Cool
those look really good, but only if they cost a lot less than chains??? of say add 2llx to each rear tire, and you'd go anywhere
Been using a 2x4 for years
Unless you've got a lockable diff surely you'll need two of them or the power will flood to the wheel without one on? I've improvised solutions like this with rope which have proved effective providing the ground is not ridiculously bad.
I learned the hard way with a logging chain and an old tire lol got my 2 ton outta the sand
Quero um, como faço pra comprar?

And a super 40 with duels. Whoopa!!!!!!!
