- This is the second Madeira vlog. It shows my hike from Queimadas to Caldeirao Verde along the levada through the lush forest.
I know 15 minutes is long, but there were just too many beautiful sceneries I really wanted to share with you!

I was right on that path just a few months ago... this brings back memories...
Nice views again, at some point it did seem that the waterfall was there just for yourself. Caldeirão Verde is one of my favorite walks, if you ever return again definitely continue to Caldeirão do Inferno as the mountains become even more epic and you will see more waterfalls falling from the heaven:).

Oh yeah, Inferno is the Hit. Even for a tall Guy (mind the head ;-)) like me. I visited it several times.

I love the video. I just wanted to know if there’s any of those kind of hikes that seniors could handle or are they all for the young & fit? Also is there much for someone in a wheelchair to do in Madeira? Thank you.
Hi! There were a lot of seniors, it just depends of your fitness. My parents are in their 60s and weren't capable of doing the Sao Lourenco hike. But they were also unfortunate with the weather. The hikes are impossible in a wheelchair.
World Wanderista I forgot to ask you about which islands would you say is the best for a couple in their 70,s, Madeira or The Azores? Thank you.

Did you travel by bus to get to these wonderful paths, cause I am looking forward to visit there in April on my own, and by bus and foot, any tips for cheap accommodation ? Thanks for these marvelous videos of yours :)

Were there many people on your way back, how did you pass them by on the narrow levada by the cliff?
When I was there it was not crowded. I did not have to cross people at that part.
