The preacher on the bus changed her life, she turned it around and had a son who she raised in the faith. LOVE that you did this song
Good ol Randy Travis, my heart breaks every time I see him now and see how a stroke can rob a person of so much. That man is a country music legend!! The video of Kane Brown singing 3 Wooden Crosses in a radio station and was surprised when Randy was bought in is priceless! Love seeing him meet one of his idols and finishes singing a song done by that idol with him sitting inches away.
"That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres. The faith and love for growin' things in his young son's heart" The farmer instilled the love of being a farmer in his son and his home & farming land was left for him.
"And that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children. Did her best to give 'em all a better start" She left her wisdom in many children.
And that preacher whispered, "Can't you see the Promised Land?"
As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand." The Preacher told the hooker about Christ as he was dying and left his bloody Bible with her.
"Why there's not 4 of them heaven only knows. I guess its not what you take when you leave this world behind you it's what you leave behind you when you go."
💙💙 The Preacher witnessing to the hooker she found Jesus. She had a son, and because she had found Jesus thanks to the Preacher as he died she raised her son knowing Jesus. The son grew up and became a Preacher himself, his Mom gave him that blood stained Bible she had read to him as a child and he carried that Bible with him as a testament to God's love & mercy.
Also an abusive drunk, but still
I'm surprised you didn't comment on the line at the beginning
One was heading for vacation (farmer), one for higher education (teacher), and two of them were searching for lost souls
I think that's an excellent line!
I always liked the idea of flipping reasons for farmer and teacher. The farmer can want more education and teachers need vacations too
I mean it easily could be that. But perhaps the farmer needs the vacation a little more and the teacher can use higher education. And that lines up with the order how they are mentioned in the previous lines. That's kind of the simplification in the lyrics of explaining which is which imo.
Dude...you can't delve into country music, with Brad Paisley, without doing his song "I'm Gonna Miss Her."
Give it a whirl. You'll be glad you did. 😉😎
facts😂
And Alcohol.
Hw needs to do that song 😂😂
Danny Hendrie he’s done it go check
I was fixin' to suggest that song too!
Forever and ever, amen by Randy Travis. A favorite of mine
Not another voice like Randy Travis
@@kimwatchesstuff True, but Josh Turner, the man singing with Randy in this version of Three Wooden Crosses, gets close.
Aww that was my wedding song!
@@lexileffingwell2898 I send it to my fiance all the time. However, I proposed to her at a restaurant, had them play Blue Moon by Sinatra and when the dance was over, I popped the question
Also "Deeper than the holler"
"A farmer, a teacher, a hooker and a preacher....why does it sound like a joke, like they all fittin' to walk into a bar? If he says 'they walk into a bar,' I'm going to lose it."
Bless your heart, you don't know you're fixin' to get messed UP.
I was thinking the exact same thing!
You want chills, Carrie Underwood & Vince Gill live singing How Great Thou Art.
Upchurch put out Hi-deas 7
That is by far one of the BEST songs she EVER did live. If that doesnt make you get goose bumps you dont know good music.
@@LetsLaugh2Getha exactly!
Bama Girl Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!
He reacted to Vince Gill and Carrie already.
Agree 100% please do this song!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRAD PAISLEY “HE DIDNT HAVE TO BE‼️‼️” please react to this, it’s amazig‼️‼️
The preacher placed the Bible in the hooker's hand, the hooker dident raise her son to be a preacher, she read the Bible to her son, the same blood stained Bible the preacher gave her her, she raised her son in the woed of GOD through the reading of the Bible, the son " current preacher " became a preacher, BECAUSE GOD called him to preacher his word, GOD spared the hooker's live for no lease than 2 reasons, 1, being at the time of the accident, she obviously wasn't saved, meaning if she died on that day, her soul would have went to hell, as well, she would never have gave birth to her son, now a preacher doing GOD'S work, not to mention all the other souls saved because of this current preacher's teaching of GOD'S word. The three that died that day had done good things, left this world a better place by their existence here, GOD aloud the hooker to live, so she too would have the chance to contribute to GOD'S loving Legacy as well, and that she given a chance to repent, to be able to go to Heaven also, the three cross's by the side of the roadside were placed there in remembrance for all to see, a form of respect of the three soul's that died in the accident on that day. They do that were i'm from, " the cross's by the roadside " I love this song.
Excellent song!!!!
Carrie Underwood: Church Bells and her duet with Keith Urban -- The Fighter.
Great reaction! Randy Travis...what a voice. So sad to know that he suffered a stroke and lost it.
he can still sing, very slowly though. He's still pushing forward! He's probably top 10 for me all-time. Awesome voice!
He's still alive.
Ah, but what he's left us all with his music has been tremendous 💕.
Also check out, if you haven't, "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley and Allison Krauss. Excellent story song.
I agree but it's gotta be the official video he reacts to because it puts so much more context to the song.
Thata a good one. It was directwd by Ricky Schroeder if I'm not mistaken
If you really want to hear heaven, it's Allison Krauss.
Yes love whiskey lullaby
He did
You will love Carrie singing "How Great Thou Art" with Vince Gill. Major goosebumps!
Randy Travis happened to be my favorite country singer of my era. You should do a Randy Travis Forever and ever amen.
I can never hear three wooden crosses without crying ❤️❤️
Please react to more of Randy Travis 🧡 Deep than the Holler and Forever and ever amen.
Randy Travis has always been one of my favorites. I saw him in concert in 2011 at the Beau Rivage before he had the stroke. What a great performer. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Not a big country fan bit 3 wooden crosses is a def one of my favorite songs in country 💯
You've GOT to watch her singing Just a Dream live. Goosebumps!
That’s a good one
Carrie Underwood, Cry Pretty at the 2018 CMA Awards is a great live performance by her. Her first performance live after her accident.
This is the first one I thought of when he asked. Carrie is awesome!
After hearing the duet of Brad and Carrie, you should definitely react to Kid Rock ft. Sheryl Crow-Picture and Kid Rock ft. Sheryl Crow-Collide
Yesssssssssss...Carie Underwood’s voice is everything you said. Like heaven. She’s amazing and so is Brad.
It's her voice, but the fact that it comes from a beautiful soul just amplifies the impact. One of the nicest individuals in the music industry. She's like Dolly 2.0
Josh Turner is really good too, he's the one singing with Randy Travis. You should check some of his stuff out!
His deep voice ❤
Long Black Train by Josh Turner
Brad paisley I'm gonna miss her
Ok, one of my favorite Randy Travis songs.. and yes, Temporary Home...got to listen, her voice... Wow
Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood live with Randy Travis singing "I Told You So"
You should react to “Carry Underwood Temporary Home” if you want to truly hear her voice make an impact!!!!
That is a real tear jerker there
Oh but man her voice in it!!!
Three wooden crosses was one of my favorites as a kid!!
Two of my faves !!!! React to Carrie Underwood cry pretty live at the cma awards !!!
Brad Paisley. Has some of the best story songs. And Yes on the Three Crosses you did it !!!
Two great songs to check out would be from David Ball “Riding with private Malone” and Johnny Cash version of “Hurt”
I absolutely love “Riding With Private Malone”! Seconded!
Carrie Underwood “I told you so” live. Originally sang by Randy Travis.
Carrie Underwood church bells great reaction bro
How great thou art live by Carrie Underwood is breath taking.
Carrie Underwood ft Vince Gill- How Great Thou Art (live). Believe this was a performance at the CMAs about 5 years ago. Perfection.
If you like Carrie like that, Champion and Love Wins are AMAZING songs!
She is so damned beautiful it's hard to even concentrate on the beauty of the music 🎶 makes you feel better just looking at her!
You did Carrie's How Great Thou Art! She IS amazing! Three Wooden Crosses was sad but inspiring at the same time. Good job figuring it out!
Check out Alan Jackson's Precious Memories gospel album. I think you'd enjoy it
Thank the music show that found Carrie Underwood , the voice of an angle
I Don't Know My Own Last Name is a good live vid with Carrie Underwood
Also, one of Carrie Underwood's best performances I'd Church Bells from the ACM awards!
Carrie Underwood covering Alan Jackson's Remember When live.
And shout out to Kim Williams and Doug Johnson for Three Wooden Crosses.
Carrie Underwood is even MORE amazing live in concert. I had the opportunity to see her when my sister's friend had 2 extra tickets and offered them to her. Three Wooden Crosses has always been one of my favorite Randy Travis songs. The Preacher on the bus gave the hooker his bible before he died, she found faith and read the bible to her son who became a preacher himself and told his congregation the story of his bible and the three wooden crosses.
Her best live performance- watch "Church Bells" ACM awards!
Also check out "2 black Cadillacs",
" Something bad" featuring Miranda Lambert
LOVE your enthusiasm and acceptance of all music genres! Keep up the great reviews!
Blown away live performances by Carrie Underwood are great
You may like Carrie underwood “how great thou art” also josh turner “long black train”
Randy Travis is by far one of my most favorite artist in country music this song duet was after Randy Travis suffered a stroke years prior something about 90's 80's country just hits you so different can hear the sorrow.
You would LOVE Carrie and Miranda’s Something Bad.
Yes! It's very sexy!
Just went to her concert with my mom! She never disappoints! Mom and I have been to five of her concerts now. She sounds the same live. Looks incredible too.
I believe you already reacted to Carrie singing How Great Thou Art so I would suggest Blown Away live perhaps
Aw dang! Blown away is freakin awesome! I jack up the volume when thats on! Screw the neighbors!
Carrie Underwood remind me live. Brad Paisley surprises her by showing up. And really anything Carrie Underwood sings is amazing
Listen to Cry Pretty, live at the Grand Ole Opry by Carrie
She performed her song cry pretty at the ACM awards after she fell and injured her face, and the performance and her vocals are out of this world!! I don’t know if it’s on CZcams but you can google it. Even if you don’t react to it, it’s worth watching. Some of her best live vocals ever!! Coming from a true music and vocal lover you will not be disappointed!
Pull up Carrie Underwood with Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) Live 🔥
Ooh yes please! I love that performance ♥
Randy Travis was my VERY first country concert. 💗💗💗
Love Randy, he had a stroke before the the show we were going to go to. Beautiful tone of his voice.
Have you seen her on an award show with Vince Gill singing How Great Thou Art? It brings chills and tears- every single time!!
Thanks for reacting to this one! Been looking forward to it and you didn’t disappoint. Three Wooden Crosses is a beautiful song 🙏
Carrie Underwood's cover of paradise city during cma rest I think a few years back was amazing!!! Such a great live performance!!
The whole premise of the song is it's more important what you leave behind when you go, the preacher gave the Bible to the hooker in an attempt to save her soul, she read it to her son, who became a preacher because of it, the reason there's only 3 crosses instead of 4 is because she was meant to have a son who would go on to be a preacher according to "God's will" and what the preacher left behind when he went was something to change her life for the better, she was the lost soul he was looking for
I love Brad's guitar playing!
In the lyrics to the chorus it says it's about what you leave behind when you go. So basically the hooker had nothing of significance to leave behind, that's why she survived to go on and leave something better for this world which was her son who turned out to be a preacher.
DISAPPOINTING YOU- RADNEY FOSTER
It's a song that I can most definitely identify with. Great songwriting and Radney has an amazing voice.
Carrie and vince how great thou art! She sang so hard she made herself cry
Your wide range of music is awesome. Much love from NH to yall.
I always cry when I hear this song but it is so good.
Omg you should listen to her live performance of “cry pretty” at the cmt awards from last year or when she sang paradise city at CMA fest. She’s too good!!
SOMETHTING IN THE WATER by Carrie Underwood. Inspirational. Uplifting 😀

Do Champion by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris
Listen to anything she does at the Opry... can't pick a bad one
You should listen to her song with ludacris called the champion!!!

O G - hands down best performance of that song.
You never disappoint!! Loved your reaction to Brad and Carrie - I know you reacted to Carrie Underwood singing How Great Thou Art - you should check out Church Bells by Carrie (I saw below that you have a couple requests for Church Bells). Thanks again for all you do!!
I told you so by Carrie is BEAUTIFUL !!!
Champipn by carry Underwood ft. Ludacris
How Great Thou Art is the song Carrie Underwood is at her greatest!
React to Eli young band "drunk last night","crazy girl", and "even if it breaks your heart". I know you ain't put 3 songs in one video in awhile but this would be a good one.
chadf86 love that band and those three songs... they are really good
Brad Paisley She's Everything....song about his wife♥️
Will you play Keith Urban if Carrie’s with him? The Fighter. Keith wrote it to Nicole (a dig at Tom Cruise). Keith KNOWS how to be a man!
Does he not like Keith Urban?
Pretty much any live performance from Carrie is amazing. One that will rip your heart out of your chest is her live performance of Softly and Tenderly (In Memorial CMA Awards 2017). In the beginning they look back at people in the country world who had passed that year, but at the end of the song they focus on the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, and even Carrie can’t make it through without crying. I’m literally a sobbing mess anytime I watch that performance. It was truly a such a special moment.
Me too. Can't make it through that Carrie performance or of Kelly Clarkson (World Famous Original Idol :)) singing "Piece By Piece" Live on American Idol in 2016. Piece By Piece is already a crazy sad song, but when Kelly breaks down, my heart breaks for her every time. I know it was the hormones (she was like 8 months pregnant at the time) but still....
newgrl Yess!!! The Kelly Clarkson performance destroys me every single time I watch it!!!
React to Something In The Water by Carrie Underwood
Love seeing her career blossom from American Idol
I’d love to see you react to Lead Me Home by Jamey Johnson. That song has helped me get through losing family, and I’d really like to see your reaction to it.
That's one of those unforgettable voices.
Brad and Carrie are awesome together they host together as well. Great together.
Man I LOVE how you get some involved in understanding this song! You're awesome man!
Three wooden crosses was my mother's favorite song. Very good message!
Eye candy by Josh Turner
Long black train by Josh Turner

Long black train for sure. Love to see your reaction to that.
Long black train is a must
Long black train is awesome, inspirational and chilling all at the same time!
A really great song about human passion
Good music always pairs well together bro. Keep cookin em up!🤘🏼
Three wooden crosses is country music at its finest. Tells a powerful story, makes you think and it’s emotional
can u do Carrie Underwood - Softly and Tenderly - In Memoriam (Live from the 51st Annual CMA Awards)
Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood-I Told you so. Chills.
No, if you wanna know what angels in heaven sound like, listen to Alison Krauss
