    Remember singers:
    1. Maintain that diaphragm act (use your diaphragm to sing so you don't strain your voice + don't panick if you still hear vibrations from your throat, you have to INCLUDE the diaphragm, you can't sing with it)
    2. High note technique: many beginners usually crumble their mouth into a rectangualr shape to hit the high notes, therefore, the tone comes out irritating and can strain your throat. When it's high note time, drop your jaw (practice high note exercises with dropping your jaw... If you find struggle, place your index and middle finger beneath your chin so that you'll make it a habit to sing with your jaw down)
    3. Going higher to lower, vice versa: It's gonna be hard i know... Try warming up your voice, breathing exercises, mixed voice exercise that this channel has. It'll help❀
    4. Progress: Record your progress. Your beginning stage might sound horrifying and pathetic but trust me, you WILL see progress today or tomorrow and you have to see it.
    5. Practice: practice a song once a week or so, strengthens your structure. Its not THAT necessary but maintain a vibrato if you can 💖
    You got this sweethearts!!! â€ïžđŸ”„ (It is very important to not give a care about what people think. You are doing this for yourself, for your peace and to show them that these indeed work 💅)

      If your throat hurts that means that you may not be doing something right. The exercises should not hurt but allow your range to transition smoothly. I think a lesson or two from a vocal coach could get you right on track. Then it will be much easier to practice on your own.

      @@baku4726 It's hard to explain. there's just something that's missing, that is keeping me from fully liking my voice. It probably (I'm currently learning) has to do with my TMJ, retracting my tongue, and tight sternocleidomastoid muscles (neck muscle), which also has some relation to my jaw tension which also relates A TON to lack of resonance, which definitely impacts the tone. And breath work is something I'm finding that makes a huge difference too. Sorry for the info dump. This is all stuff I learned in the past month with my voice teacher, and I found it super helpful myself so I wanted to share! I haven't been doing this one cause I'm really trying to focus on my foundational work. But as long as someone replies again eventually, I will provide updates â˜ș

    @bbeau7 Pƙed 4 měsĂci +4

    These aren't too hard if you're an intermediate - advanced singer but could be challenging at first for beginners. So if you're a beginner I'd recommend going slow at first (you can change the speed of the video by clicking on the settings wheel) then slowly working your way up to full speed. It's also important to use your abdomen for support on any notes that are challenging you as you don't want to strain and use the muscles in your throat. Using your throat instead of your abdomen to support the diaphragm could lead to regression and could ruin your voice. Hope this helps, good luck everyone!

    Gonna be doing this twice a day, everyday for two weeks.
    Day 1: My voice is so bad and shaky, but I’ll get better over time
    Day 2: I already sound better! I’m improving everyday
    Day 3: I’m getting there! I definitely sound much better then when I started. But I still just sound flat
    Day 4: Definitely Improving!! I’m starting to be able to hold a note without my voice cracking. And I’m developing a small vibrato

      Do warm-ups then start resonance and lip rolls. Then try unlocking your chest voice by doing chest voice exercises. Then also try tone exercises and breathing exercises (most important). For pitch accuracy, try pitch accuracy and flexibility (a exercise). Stretch before exercises or have a warm tea, helps to avoid tensions. Do these first. You will develop soon.
