Filipinos love singing this song because it’s a challenging piece
True
For some reason Filipino don't usually sing the easiest songs, they love to sing very challenging songs to put their vocals to the test. That's what we do...and additional info, Filipino's can sing different languages without an accent even though we don't speak nor understand the language itself.
❤ Agree 🤗
Yes true
That's true
Filipinos love songs that will give them the chance to hit a very high note. They belt it out as if it’s easy.
There are two things Filipinos love to do most ,, first Filipinos love to eat and second Filipinos love to sing .👍😀
😅😂🤣
😂 Absolutely that's what most foreigners have said.
Awesome voice👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💖💪🇵🇭❗
Dance too!
Lumpia !
It became so popular in the Philippines because the pitch of the song is so high, yet, Pinoys perform it just like a piece of cake. Because we, Pinoys, are great singers.
Don't be boastful kabayan...
@@arnelrubia9751, its the truth. I am not being boastful. Have you seen even kids can sing it so easily inspite of the higher pitch of the song. If you think I am being boastful, well, that is your opinion. This song has been performed with a lot of non professional singers; at the parties and inuman session and no one flops. And that is phenomenal. You cannot see this in other countries. Only in the Philippines! Be Proud, man!!! Appreciate Filipino talents.
Very talented
She.s a champion on tawag Ng tanghlan.in showtime.she's a mery cabagting
@@arnelrubia9751It is not being boastful......few people cannot reach 5intensity which can almost break a glass and she is one.....maybe YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN HER BUT YOU NEED TO GO IN THAT AREA AND BELT....BEFORE WE SEE YOUR WORTH OK. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF US BUT FEW GOT THE LUCK AND MAYBE SHE IS ONE WHO WILL REMAIN IN THA SCENARIO....SO PLEASE MY ADVICE TO YOU GO THERE AND BELT YOUR TALENT I WILL BE YOUR FAN.
So amazing singer. She's like a professional singer.
The more hard song u sing, the more u discover your strength and weaknesses in your voice😊
i think filipinos loves emotional songs
they can really blend in their emotions to the song
The harder, higher the notes, the more challenging it is for Filipinos
Oh you bet and they love it, they sing from their soul :)
Yes, it's part of our culture...We love to sing, at home, school and our community...That's us Filipinos 😁
Yes majority of the Filipino can sing, no need for us to become artist to become a professional singer. Thank you so much for the appreciation.😍🤩🏵🌹🥀🌺👍🙏

They love the challenge.. I mean these singers🥰🥰🥰
It's the difficulty of the hight notes that made the song so popular in every karaoke session.
Awesome singer born to take high notes, and thanks for appreciating our Filipino singers🙏🎤
Filipino wants a challenging song.
The more harder the song was, the more fun, exciting and challenging it is to be as per Filipino perspective about singing is concerned ❤

Yes,We're born to sing.
When we were born instead of crying we sing😀 and 85% of our population can sing.
and Im 1 of the remaining 15% who loves to sing but not good in singing
It’s what Filipinos admire the “birit” way - the sustained high pitch in singing - that stands out and get the public’s attention.
Agree✊🏻👆🎤
Roberto del Rosario, a Filipino national, was granted patents in 1983 and 1986 for a device generally known as the “karaoke machine.”
Salamat Roberto sa envision mong karaoke malaking tulong sa mga stressful person para pantanggal boring
She has an amazing voice, she can hit the high notes perfectly.

Thank you FilAm connections. Filipinos are daring. when it comes to singing , those who have the talent usually choose to sing the hard/high pitch/notes songs . we love singing even though some of us are tone deaf/out of tune. Hoping through your reactions, we can be heard globally.
The reason why that song is so popular in the Philippines is because of a high pitch. Only gifted people can able to sing that song with that kind of FALSETTO voice, hats off gurl bravo👏👏👏👏

Any soulful song is a Pinoy's choice🎉🎉🎉
Filipinos love to sing high pitch F5. Singing has already become part of our culture and became a habit for everyone.
The highest note I've heard from a female vocalist was E6 by Agnetha Faltskog (from ABBA). I'm just saying for interest.
Thank U for this wonderful vlog of an ordinary Filipino singing beautifully 💖
I love this song, very high tone, every time i go vacation in Philippines this is my no 1 song i sing in my karaoke
Sustaining high notes became the standard to test one's ability to sing. If you did it, you passed the test. ❤😊

I used to remember we sing inside the classroom this late 70’s 😂 it our culture to sing we adapted so many great singers
As someone who never had the pleasure of seeing this I was thankful to be able to fast forward to the actual singing and fwd past comments, beautiful voice. Would like to see her perform it from beginning to end without commentary.
and yet when the Philippines sing it is from the bottoms of our hearts with feelings.❤
Filipinos were now also afflicted with the trend that singing songs with high notes is the acme of a true singer. That is why they sings this kind of songs. No one one can sings now like, in the 60s and 70s, the way Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Matt Monroe, Tom Jones, Humperdinck and other singers like Jim Reeves with his very low voice.
Because this song very easy to sing 😂 even its high notes and nice arrangement and the meaning of this song touch the pilipinos heart tagos sa puso ba😊
Yeheeyyy grabi ka girl
I think it's because a number of (ordinary) Filipinos are taking the pitch along the way as a challenge to their limits in singing. Hitting the notes and making it (reach the peak and survived the "height") gives a sense of achievement. Yeah, Filipinos love to sing, but not all can hit it. So singing it and making it makes you a hall of famer kind a thing.
Filipinos love to Sing a song with high tune for them to do belting that could test their voice, although we all knew that Filipinos were born with a microphone in their hand and when the doctor tap their butt instead of crying the baby sings😊😊😊
New subscriber here, thank you for appreciating the Filipino talent. 💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏
So am I
Welcome to my channel.
It’s not just that song that’s popular, most Filipinos would choose to sing songs with higher notes because it shows their range. It’s more of showing one’s talent and accomplishment. The more challenging the song, the better we feel about ourselves. If she can sing that high of a song, other songs will be effortless.
Karaoke is normal in the Philippines, all Malls in the Philippines has a ready to sing karaoke in karaoke station just grab the mikerophone choose the
song you'd like to sing . It's part of promotion and the way the Malls selling their product. It's like testing if the quality is good

I always hear this song on every occasion in my neighborhood. Filipinos really love videoke & have an amazing voices. But sometimes, I get mad if they sing till dawn especially if got work early in the morning the next day.
Yes, and let's be honest .not all are good singers .
They love singing the high notes, thats why.
Filipinos love this song because it's very high note , and therefore, the song alone is very challenging to execute . Its like a level up game in singing. And yes, karaoke system is very popular household appliances. A Filipino inventer made the first karaoke system.
Filipinos are so expressive and this song touched so much the heart of a person.
Many Filipino singers want difficult and belting songs.... She's gone is just one...
*She's not just a ordinary person in a store....that is singer Mary Khem Cabagte*
Very popular bcoz it is a challenging song to them...amazing voice.❤❤❤
Beautiful and she has a very high voice tone...BRAVO LADY
She's not moving too much when hitting high notes, she's singing it in a relaxed way, calmly!
THEY ARE CHALLENGING THEMSELVES HOW FAR CAN THEIR VOICE GO! IT'S IF YOU CAN SING THIS SONG GOOD EVEN PERFECTLY, THEY CAN JUST SING ANY SONG!
Woww! Her voice is veru clear and smooth❤
Hits high notes, can sustain them and sounds relaxed throughout.
Wow!!! 🤩
Filipinos in general love classic ballad songs and love songs... in my growing years, I used to sing karaoke the old fashion way - playing songs through a cassette player, reading a very small printed song books and just sing our hearts away... entertain friends... singalongs... most of all... just have fun... that's how we roll in the Philippines...
Fyu, she is in the store where they are Kareoke machine, which is why anybody who wanted to sing is allowed to test the machine. They allowed customers to use the machine so passersby can hear that the kareke machine is good and has quality.
This song is popular in the Philippines because it's emotional and it's difficult to sing. We love that!
There are 3 factors that make Filipino singers excel in singing. No. 3: a lot of households in the Philippines have a karaoke player that makes practicing more often till they perfect the songs they want to sing. No.2: A lot of would be singers always join singing competition nationwide with the support of family members and friends and relatives because it's a way of earning money to support the family and a possible way to stardom which they want to achieve. And No. 1: When they practice or rehearse a song, they choose a very difficult song and belt it out perfectly and if they can, they are sure to win the competition. High notes songs are the norms of singing competition in the Philippines. So a lot of singers (popular ones) in the Philippines are normally good Belters.
Fyi for everyone out there, sing-a-long/ a minuto one was invented by Filipinos because they love to Sing. Japanese saw this and they make karaoke from this Concept and sold it to the Philippines and the world and named it karaoke!!! Btw I am Chinese!
Exactly every filipinos home wanted to have karaoke 🎤 @home😅🤭🎶🎶🎶
Sir we do what we feel not for sale!!! Tnks for admiring Pinoys!!!!Godbless Pilipinos!
Filipino singers love this song because of the belting part. 😊
It’s everywhere even in California. Party or not , they ‘re singing in their houses especially if there’s a party.Majority of the Filipinos have karaoke. They start singing when they are still young. Self taught and no vocal instructions. That’s the role of the karaoke, the Filipinos just follow the music and the singer of the original song.
😊pitch perfect. I think she did the best cover of this song.. although there is a little cracked at the end it was rendered beautifully..
That was why Filipino invented the Machine, the idea came about in the late 70's because of the Filipinos love of music especially singing those favorite songs of theirs. So Mr. Del Rosario in the early 80's invented the what we call SAS or Sing Along System Machine. The Record Label Companies started to manufacture cassettes that were Minus One, you got there the accompaniments except the original singers coinsided on the side B with the original singers for guidance. Later adopted by the Japanese and called them Karaoke and tried to informed the world that this was a Japanese invention. The only original the Japanese did was the name Karaoke that's all!🤓🤓🤓
This lady can sing her voice is awesome she need to be notice she sing one the heart song Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌
Philippines are land of great singers ,so thats only normal, most pilipino have their own karaoke thats make them good in singing
This platform is most sought that reflects situations ordinary filipino daily lives.
She could be famous if she decide to do so. What a unique and beautiful voice she has... very clean and beautiful.
The lyrics of the song is sinking in so much to every person who lost the person that has been of his life ; his heart.
Some of the best singers are Philippines and are gifted😊

Yes we filifiino were born with mic 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow girl! Speechless...
The higher the notes, the more difficult to sing, the more pinoy singers are challenged to try to sing it. That's how they are😊
True👍🥳
Ang taas ng boses neto. Sumali ka sa agt or bgt iha. You got the talent
to answer your question, Filipinos generally use their emotions to communicate..talking to a Filipino is to speak with his/their heart. In the same way Filipinos will often tell you what is in their hearts. that is why when filipinos sing you feel the message..they sing with their hearts in to it..
you might not know this, bruh. our Fil bros and sis loves singing songs like this because most of the songs that we grew up with, most especially from the provinces, were tuned so high originally. try imagining songs starting from the era of Tom Jones in the late 60s/early 70s, down to the power ballads of hair metal bands in the 80s, and then you got the like of Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, and if we're going a little modern, Tina Arena. So in a nutshell, it's like challenging ourselves what's the highest note we can reach.
Wow she's so good, fantastic 🤗👍👌
Ordinary days at malls in the phils bro...
From baby 2years old to adult all can sing 🎤, even in my family from my great grandparents to our grandchildren all can sing well👍🫰💕😊🥰👵🏻❤️
Selecting difficult songs is a measurement of how good they are. Store make it available for public to advertise it too. I bought for my grandkids in Canada to inspire them but not to be.
Wow,amazing voice,,,
Thank you for this. 😊
Any time!
this was a nice rendition but not to take anything away from the wonderful singing of the lady, what makes it really amazing is if a MAN sings it because of the high pitch
