For some reason Filipino don't usually sing the easiest songs, they love to sing very challenging songs to put their vocals to the test. That's what we do...and additional info, Filipino's can sing different languages without an accent even though we don't speak nor understand the language itself.

@@arnelrubia9751, its the truth. I am not being boastful. Have you seen even kids can sing it so easily inspite of the higher pitch of the song. If you think I am being boastful, well, that is your opinion. This song has been performed with a lot of non professional singers; at the parties and inuman session and no one flops. And that is phenomenal. You cannot see this in other countries. Only in the Philippines! Be Proud, man!!! Appreciate Filipino talents.

I think it's because a number of (ordinary) Filipinos are taking the pitch along the way as a challenge to their limits in singing. Hitting the notes and making it (reach the peak and survived the "height") gives a sense of achievement. Yeah, Filipinos love to sing, but not all can hit it. So singing it and making it makes you a hall of famer kind a thing.

There are 3 factors that make Filipino singers excel in singing. No. 3: a lot of households in the Philippines have a karaoke player that makes practicing more often till they perfect the songs they want to sing. No.2: A lot of would be singers always join singing competition nationwide with the support of family members and friends and relatives because it's a way of earning money to support the family and a possible way to stardom which they want to achieve. And No. 1: When they practice or rehearse a song, they choose a very difficult song and belt it out perfectly and if they can, they are sure to win the competition. High notes songs are the norms of singing competition in the Philippines. So a lot of singers (popular ones) in the Philippines are normally good Belters.

So Mr. Del Rosario in the early 80's invented the what we call SAS or Sing Along System Machine. The Record Label Companies started to manufacture cassettes that were Minus One, you got there the accompaniments except the original singers coinsided on the side B with the original singers for guidance. Later adopted by the Japanese and called them Karaoke and tried to informed the world that this was a Japanese invention. The only original the Japanese did was the name Karaoke that's all!🤓🤓🤓

you might not know this, bruh. our Fil bros and sis loves singing songs like this because most of the songs that we grew up with, most especially from the provinces, were tuned so high originally. try imagining songs starting from the era of Tom Jones in the late 60s/early 70s, down to the power ballads of hair metal bands in the 80s, and then you got the like of Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, and if we're going a little modern, Tina Arena. So in a nutshell, it's like challenging ourselves what's the highest note we can reach.
