  • I got what I wanted out of this project, although I wish I was better at machining/drilling accurately for a cleaner looking final project. It does everything I need it to do, so that's a win.
    Thanks for checking it out.

I love analog too. I have two Alessandro dual octal meters. I’d love to be able to see analog current with voltage Meters., but these have worked well for two decades. Thanks for the inspiration DK.

Funny enough, I am working on my pioneer SX-1250... and setting voltages in there with a DMM makes me crazy... Trying to get it to stabilize at 65mv... when breathing on the trim pot would sway it. The analog meters can only show "close enough".. and it encourages me to be more conservative with my tubes.

Good stuff DK, a totally useful tool. I here ya on the frustration levels when making the socket to plug devices. A definite on my costs less than 4 meters list for sure.

It's certainly done in "my style".... having no detachable parts to misplace, and no batteries to deal with. This device is simple enough, and does just what I need it to do.

Great video. Saves a bunch of money if you build this yourself

The circuit is certainly NOT a tough one... Building the probes is a "tight space" job... but that's my fault for wanting short probes. It's been helpful... as it shows up in the next 3 videos.
