Make sure to ask them to section it nice and evenly, and what they think is best for your head shape… I hate seeing jagged man buns because barbers don’t really touch or had long hair themselves so they just throw it up quickly.

if u asked for that, they'd probably blend the sides into the top which will look completely different. By separating and sectioning the hair it makes sure they don't blend/ cut the top of the hair that falls into the sides.

My hair grows too fast. I always ask for a skin taper. Its very frustrating to have thick amd straight hair. I gave a girl a splinter one time. Felt bad for her. I always tell them to wear gloves if they want. I wouldnt be offended.
